Looks like we may have underestimated how strongly Amari Rodgers and Hunter Johnson are recruiting against UT. I know Amari has daddy issues, but what is HJ's beef with UT? Did something happen in his recruitment that caused him to decommit and left him with hard feelings? With Tee on board, they're really going to ramp up their negative peer recruiting.

Mislead the person(s) my info came from.
I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt. I hope he did it for dramatic effect and no malice.
I can't buy into that. Same thing was said last year when the class was kind of mediocre a few months before NSD. Most swore UT winning 8-9 and a good bowl showing would easily get us back into the top of the SEC recruiting wise. It didn't happen. In fact, it looks like it's actually declined even more since then. I understand why some fans always claim it will change shortly. 9 wins, picked to win the East. Some media saying a national title contender. Meanwhile recruiting just keeps slipping.
You catch onto a theme and hold on to it. We closed with Kongbo, Byrd, Callaway, Tatum, and Warrior AFTER the bowl game. That made it a top 15 class. That class as the going to be top 10 because of numbers. Stick with your theme.
What do you mean hard feelings? He's a QB. I'd imagine he'd like the #1WR in the country playing on his team. HJ is recruiting for his team. Its nothing to do with hard feelings.
Top 15. I think that's what most should expect going forward. It will come down to can this staff take a middle of the road SEC type class and win consistently.
I asked about HJ, because IDK much about him or his recruitment. But it's personal with Amari. He and HJ are on a mission to take every top player in the state away from UT. Dabo probably can't believe his luck in reaping the spoils of such negative peer recruiting.
But the point is that they closed well with a successful end to the season. If they have a successful 2016, then recruiting will take care of itself.
They are going to have to close very strong. Average * rating would have us closer to 25th today. We'll need to land 4-5 more 4* just to make it into the top 15.
