I'll be happy with a 1 point victory over Gators, UGA, and the Tide any season.

All things being equal (no major injuries etc) I am very, very confident we beat UF and will cover.

Nah. It won't be.

We should have won by 13 last year on the road against a better Florida team.

This year they'll be worse. We'll be better. Its at home.

I'll be shocked if we don't cover the spread.

Florida in 2014 were decimated by injuries.

In 2015 they stayed healthy and had young talent step up.

2016 they will be better. Not worse.

2014 and 2015 we were the better team. But... we love kicking field goals against them. And we lost.

Anyway my point is we are better this year as well. Our defense will have to win this game by creating turnovers.

Florida has more talent than youre giving them credit for. Plus they have a good coaching staff.

Maybe those 2 but would love to beat the gators as many as we can score on them. In last 11 years everyone except Tennessee, Arkansas and Kentucky has beaten Florida at least once... even candy beat them 2 years in a row.

you just had to bring that up:mad:. Here I am with 4 tickets, can't go, and this should be our year.... Of course I was sure we would beat them in '14....until we kicked that 3rd FG; I was ready to leave then; I knew what was coming. I can't win. If we win I miss it, if we lose:blink:... I can't win.

IMHO, UT wins big or.... likely doesn't win. The psychological factor kicks in if it is close. It will be close if Jones doesn't keep the hammer down when given the opportunity.

AND.... I do NOT think UT gets enough help from anyone to win the East if they don't beat UF. UF's schedule is just too easy.

Florida only lost to Vandy once. Once was enough

I see one likely SEC loss if UT doesn't beat them. UT needs to hire whoever does schedules for UF:

2016 FLORIDA FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

DATE OPPONENT
9/3 UMASS
9/10 KENTUCKY
9/17 NORTH TEXAS
9/24 AT TENNESSEE
10/1 AT VANDERBILT
10/8 LSU
10/15 MISSOURI
10/22 BYE WEEK
10/29 GEORGIA
11/5 AT ARKANSAS
11/12 SOUTH CAROLINA
11/19 PRESBYTERIAN
11/26 AT FLORIDA STATE

The difference is that the schedule is balanced as opposed to being front loaded or back loaded

Its official Durant to the Warriors. That's really not fair. Wish my Grizz were in the Eastern conference like they should be.

True, but so many of our fans complain if we don't play the toughest teams every year.
Of course those same fans then turn around and compare the number of wins as if it's apples to apples.
So I'm at a loss.

Florida will be 3-0 coming off big win when they come to Knoxville. No need to lay 12- now. Line should be around 6-7 game week.

Frankly, I think they'll see why Del Rio has bounced around when he plays in Knoxville. Their spring game was designed to make him look good but defenses will take away the short quick passes that he can throw and his arm strength won't beat people down field.

Hmmmm, quick, short passes....remind you of anyone we know? Let's hope he has improved dramatically and our receivers can catch the ball.

My bad I thought 2012-13 but only 2013. I also bet that loss to a FCS team Georgia Southern in 13 hurt?

To be brutally honest, the Vandy loss hurt more in the following way.....

When the game was over, Vandy didn't jump up and down, dump gatorade on Franklin, do snow angels on the turf, etc, etc, etc. They didn't celebrate in any way.

The game was so anti-climactic that they just casually strolled to the middle of the field to shake hands and walked to the locker room like they had just beaten SW Texas State.

That was painful and sad.

I know about how you feel. It hurt in 2012 when little vandy put a thrashing on us.
