Maybe the mind warp of the last few years is finally working in reverse

I think it's silly to act as if we don't have proper depth at DT. I think we are loaded for bear and ready to go

Perhaps I am wrong Because of where we used to be at that position

We will likely begin fall camp with 3 capable and proven DTs. That's not proper depth.

I think we will be fine as long as Tuttle is back for that brutal 4 game stretch, which he should I imagine.

DT: 1. Shy Tuttle 2. Kendal Vickers
DE: 1. Corey Vereen 2. Jonathan Kongbo III/Austin Smith

This doesn't include the incoming fall freshmen enrollees though.

Was kind of hoping to see Kongbo on the edge but I could see him on 3rd in long playing inside

Need to swap Tuttle and Danny IMO.

Scary depth chart and not in a good way. We better stay healthy at DT. That's all I know.

Yes, Butcher will be there too if he can stay healthy. We also must keep in mind the player suspended who's name is absolutely escaping me right now.

Wilkerson maybe? I can't believe his name is slipping my mind. He has his own thread titled "So & So Arrested". Good grief! :crazy: Edit: Alexis Johnson who I was trying to think of.

Exactly. Could we use a couple more proven DTs? Sure, who couldn't. But that's the best DL depth chart in a very long time.

Yep. In the misery of the 2011 - 2013 seasons, I sometimes wondered what it would be like when UT is back and what Volnation posters would find to nitpick and complain about. Now I know. ;-)

We are in better shape at that position than all but maybe 10 programs in the country. And I'd be curious to hear who is definitely better (I'm sure there's a few, but not many).
