I expect Shoop to do great. I think he is in all likelihood the best defensive coordinator hire we have made since Chief was hired.

Way off topic, but is anyone else having issues in PC mode where only the first few posts are viewable and then the rest of the page is grayed out? This is happening in IE. When I try to use Firefox, it loads the page, but my ability to scroll goes away, as in there is no scroll bar on the side, nor can I scroll with my mouse. Very strange...

There is no number there......it just says "users online now!". Well of course there are users online now. I am a user and I'm online. I want to know how many other users are on here too. It's like Freak is trying to hide information from us. It's quite disheartening.








Ok, after thinking about it a little more, my problem doesn't seem quite as bad as yours. I do however like knowing how many users are online though.

Just a quick question any threads been brought up about summer enrollees... if they are what we expected, suprisingly better, or not as good as thought. I know its summer and cant really tell till they strap em up but just interesting to know.

Disagree that Missouricor south carolina are toss ups for UGA

UGA's OL is an issue, Missouri's DL could give them big problems and if they do have a true freshman starting his first road game and he gets rattled you never know.

Missouri has Drew Lock who has talent so I don't think they will be some garbage Vandy like team this year (6-6ish).

Then with SC, UGA hasn't won there in a decade or so and they will be playing at USC after going to Ole Miss and playing at home against us which is one of their 2 biggest games.

Whether they beat us or lose I could see them overlooking the Gamecocks or having an emotional let down.

That is why they are toss ups to me on UGA's schedule.

Your issue definitely takes priority.

Mobile mode, I'm good. Maybe it was just my work PC telling me to 'Get to work!' ?

That sets up nicely when Florida, A&M, and Alabama are all over 100. Georgia is at 37- that could be our toughest game this year with it on the road and right after we break the streak.

I think you're right to not underestimate Mizzou. Odom is a Mizzou coach through and through; the players will give him their best. We'll see about their offense, but defensively, they should be fine.

But Carolina... UGA not winning at Willy B in a decade has more to do with Spurrier than it does the chickens. Carolina looks as bad off, if not worse, than we did transitioning from Kiffin to Dooley. I don't know if they really have anything to look forward to, aside from the true freshman athlete starting at QB for them.

I think Vandy has a better shot at upsetting UGA than Carolina. They've got a legit defense and a dependable running back. If they stop the QB carousel, they could go bowling this year.

All 3 phases have no excuses this year. The roster has been completely rebuilt. We are extremely talented, deep, and experienced. The time has arrived to expect to win every game that we play...hence, no excuses!

Expect to win every game? This is why I fret so much in here. Stupid unrealistic expectations. I expect to win against the lower tier teams we play, because as you say, we are talented, deep and experienced in all three phases. The stupidity comes in when it's EXPECTED that we win again those teams that are just as, or in Bama's case more, talented, deep and experienced in those three phases than we are. We should expect to be in dogfights with those teams, and have a good chance to win.
