I think a tribute would be very appropriate, but would possibly opt for "Summitt" being stitched on the sleeve or elsewhere on the jersey vs a sticker helmet. This is just another item the team can rally around to make 2016 a special year, as Pat Summitt definitely gave her all... all the time and for all the right reasons.

I would be disappointed if they didn't do something like that. I would like to think its already in the works.

Something big should be on all uniforms for the next year at least.

Pat earned and deserves that at the least.

All flags should be at 1/2 staff too.

I think it would look awesome. I wish they would mix the Lady Vols blue into the uniform. Homecoming would be a great time imo. That makes a lot of sense. I really wish they would do this because she is an absolute iconic coach and person. I think in our society these days we tend to not morn as long as we use to. I think that's sad. I've got my fingers crossed hoping something like this will be done. We are truly 1 Tennessee!

I think the higher powers will get it done. If Pat Summitt doesn't deserve it I just don't know who does.

I don't see why they wouldn't because would it be any different than wearing hot pink for breast cancer awareness?

That's a really good point. Even here in South Carolina she is respected, a lot. And I'm sure that's the way it is all over the country.

Great idea for football. The best Hart could do is restore the Lady Vols name n ORIGINAL LOGO to all Lady's Teams.Pat started the name let's put it back where it belongs. It is a Logo known world wide. Its time to return the logo to its rightful place

Many players and coaches (e.g. Peyton, Cut, Fulmer, Butch) have all said she had an impact on them from a personal and professional standpoint. She transcended the women's game like nobody ever has or ever will. A patch on the jersey or sticker would definitely be appropriate.

Lady Vol blue outline on helmet Power T and/or jersey numbers. Subtle but meaningful.

I'm all in for a sticker, she is or now was worth more than a sticker but let's get what we can get. I am sorry for the loss of Pat, God's Grace.

I'm sure Butch will get that done for a game...and both basketball teams need to wear patches all season in 2016-17. 🏈🏀😥
