Death, taxes, and these things happening vs the Gators:

-An extremely untimely turnover on our part that wipes away our momentum and gives it all to UF

-An unheralded UF player having a career day

-One major position group advantage for the Vols becoming a total non-factor

-UF scoring on a play with an obvious missed hold/block in the back, or UT getting a score waved off due to a questionable penalty call (good chance both happen in the same game)

I fully expect Neyland to be full of nervous energy in the middle of the 4th quarter as the offense takes the field to either go 3 and out and punt back to the Swamp Donkey's offense with a chance to win or tie, or to pick up a couple first downs and ice the game.

That said, I think the team will finally respond and make the plays when it counts to get the W.

Floridas still going to have a nasty defense. Especially since we play them so early, they are always still fresh. They also never play any tough games before us. It will still be a tossup imo because of their defense. In a really close game they have the advantage, because of the streak weighing so heavily. It makes the coaches and players tight. If we can get some separation in the score, this time I think the defense holds it. I think we win 24-13

Their defense won't be as good as last year, but they'll be good. Our defense and offense will be better than last year, and we have them at home. I really don't see how we lose that game barring an epic collapse. Makes me nauseous even thinking about that.

Every thread? Nah. Maybe 10-15% of them. Coaches can change. At times it's good to adapt. Hopefully they will. While the 3* caliber recruits are ok with me, it's quite clear recruiting isn't what it use to be. Something is definitely off. If you ignore it for too long, it could have a big impact.

I return from my off-season exile today and THIS is the garbage I return to.

Lol glad to see hyperbole lives and things here never really change. Feels like home...

I'm not sure why people use the streak as an argument in favor of why Florida will win. Odds are much more in favor of them losing - streaks like that are hard to sustain, especially when they have been helped in recent years by flukish plays and calls.

That's the spirit!
