And just for reference, how was it pronounced?

I am actually from McMinnville and really good friends with Kuh-Ron's family (which is how's it's pronounced and not spelled.) I actually might have some insider status with this kid so I will keep you all posted. 😁

Perfect. Thanks!

Does this look fair? Debord feeds 8 people besides himself and Strip feeds the DL who all obviously like to eat. Little uneven there, LOL

Hey me too! (from McMinnville part, I don't know the kid or family).

I did ask a high school coach about him and was told he was a Vol if offered. Take that for what it's worth.

Silly question alert: But are coaches allowed to buy their players dinner like that? The NCAA has some crazy rules and I remember "Tacogate" with Foster..

Tennessee has options at left tackle, though. Talented options, too. And Vols coach Butch Jones told GoVols247 that he’s counting on talent and wide-open competition as the right concoction for a happy solution.

It’s no secret that three players — redshirt freshman Drew Richmond, sophomore Chance Hall and fourth-year junior Brett Kendrick — are the biggest names to watch in the competition at both tackle spots. Jones didn’t attempt to deny that.

Richmond took a majority of the first-team left tackle reps in spring practice, but Hall — who was named a Freshman All-American last season for his performance at right tackle — was out with an injury. And Kendrick remains a viable candidate at both tackle spots, as well.

“We’re continuing to work on those options,” Jones said. “Obviously Drew Richmond, we’ve been very encouraged by his development. He continues to be a student of the game, and his body has changed a lot. So you have that option.

“You also look at Chance Hall. I believe he’s got the ability to play both sides. You also look at Brett Kendrick, and how far Brett has come from a maturation standpoint in our football program, and I really like what he brings to the table. We do have some viable options, and I think going into camp that’ll be one of the most competitive position battles that we have.”

Tennessee’s offense doesn’t have to replace much heading into 2016, but it does have to replace an All-SEC player at a critical position.

“Kyler Kerbyson was an overachiever, and to me that’s not a negative connotation,” Jones said. “That speaks volumes for his character, his competitive character, his work ethic and his desire, and I’m so proud of him. That’s why he’ll be successful in anything he chooses to do. That’s the type of character we want there.”

Yeah, until a few years ago, the rules were something along the lines of 3 meals a day, with certain limited snacks. Now the rule states the players can be fed "additional meals at the institution’s discretion to meet nutritional needs," with any kind of snack. Pretty much anything goes now as far as I know.

Cool. Makes sense. (For once the NCAA gets something right).

Just got done listening to the latest volquest podcast and was interested to hear that Hubbs is hearing that the title IX lawsuit is moving more and more toward a settlement. Can't wait to get this stuff in the rear view. When it eventually settles how do you think this will all be spun in the media? Negative for a while then everyone forgets and moves on? Just glad to see resolution is on the horizon.

Settlements are normally talked about and then forgotten shortly after. How much do you hear about FSU right now?

My thinking as well. Even if the school really took all the steps necessary and did everything by the book, this has got to stop dragging UT through the mud. Settlement can't come soon enough.

At some point it's cheaper to settle than pay attorney fees in a title IX lawsuit for 2-3 years
