The only position I could see Evan on offense is RB and even then we have much better options.

This is by no means a slight to Evan. He's in the correct positions as is

But regardless of this talk, we will be fine at WR. So many weapons

Any word on how Jeff George is coming along?

He waits patiently for an opening and then hits the acceleration. Not lacking in quick acceleration.

With the Perry info coming out, Berry just might get his chance on the offensive side now.

For the record I think the staff does a good job at recruiting .
I remember them slow playing Amadi and in the end he didnt care for it and went to Oregon.
Point is NAS Overton is going to have a D1 player at least every other year so hopefully Martin and Jackson help make that an inroad for the program.

They slow played him for a reason...and it worked.

Didn't Croom get hit in the chest running a slant in the orange and white game that TK picked off? I bet Croom will help out the WRS this year not strictly TE. Tweener.

Walked by George the other day. Looked bigger than when I saw him earlier in the year. Plus he was munching on a protein bar so good news

Exactly. My opinion as well. Not trying to make it seem like they are similar, but Derrick Henry has that style. Float until you see the hole and then go hard.

I see a guy that knows what to do with the football. He has good hands, speed, quickness and avoids contact. You do not see him seeking contact on defense or closing quickly on the ball when in the air. That does not scream safety or even defense to me. Maybe he adapts and gets it this season.

I see him like I saw Rashad Baker. Came as a WR and was converted to safety. Had a reasonably good career and made the NFL for a few seasons. But the guy was a highly sought after WR in HS, which it appeared initially was his ticket. Not saying Evan is like him, but Teague was clearly not a CB and would have been a solid producer at slot. He did what was asked and his performance declined because he naturally thought and reacted as an offensive player. Hope this type stuff is not happening with Evan.

How many chances will Evan get in the return game this year?

You gotta think every opponent is either gonna try to kick thru end zone or pooching it to an up man. I agree I think Evan is more asset on the offensive side. When do y'all think his bro Elliot will make a legit impact or do you think won't come out to fruition.
