Whether you're "stoopid" or not has nothing to do with you being a Christian. But since you know exactly what a theory is, and you dismiss evolution as "just a theory", I'd love to hear your problems with gravity and germs. After all, those are "just theories" too.

Your tone is exactly what I was referring to earlier. You athiest think everybody else is somehow below you when none of it is scientific fact.

So man evolving from some chemical soup has been proven? I'll hang up and listen.

I didn't refuse to answer it at all, you already showed that trying to give you any explanation is fruitless because "it's just a theory". You said you understand what a scientific theory is, yet your own words indicate you really, really don't. So if you still haven't demonstrated you understand that, why waste time showing you the research and evidence when you're just going to dismiss it as "not fact".

Edit: So that's a yes on that safe space then?

You haven't answered it because you can't. It's ok because no one can definitively say that man evolved from a chemical soup, the absolute premise of evolution. So my point is that you are basing your beliefs on just as shaky ground as us Christians. Your position requires some degree of faith, as does ours.

Just a point of clarification, Abiogenesis separate from ToE, much less an "absolute premise". Both attempt to explain two different things.

But for all life to have evolved it had to start from something. Maybe I'm making the leap myself as it's only logical. I mean the whole premise of evolution is things evolve. I think it's implausible that the origins of life began with say a fish of some kind. It had to begin with some sort of single cell organism. That is if you believe that humans evolved from some other form of life, which I don't.
