HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Dragons didn't beat the White Walkers the first time. I'm not sure they will this time either.

Yeah, but that was last time. The continent is devastated by years of war from the Trident to the Wall. Not to mention Humanity is completely divided and oblivious to the the threat except for the very few in the North who have been dealing with them. Plus the COTF are gone, so no magical help there like last time. Also you have to assume the Night King is not a bumbling moron. He will not make whatever mistakes he made before that led to defeat...Bottom line, they need the dragons to win.

Tormund and Rickon are goners too

All that running and hiding by little Rickon for absolutely no dang reason then. They should have just killed him off right off the bat if that is the plan. It's not like anybody needs more motivation to peel Ramsay like a apple. Bran could have just got away by himself. The poor kid has had a miserable life and lost everybody he loves(for all he knows) I really wish they would give the kid a break and let him live.

Rickon has to die so Sansa can become Lady of Winterfell. I mean everyone involved in the plot seems to already have moved past the idea of winning the castle for Rickon.

Rickon holds the dubious record of least amount of dialogue for a character that's survived more than one season. He's been out-of-mind for so long, no one is emotionally invested in what happens to him; I fully expect Ramsey to off him in some horrible way. (a flaying, perhaps?)

I figured it would be something along the lines of the white walkers move south and are whipping everyone for the most part since 99% of Westeros doesn't even believe they exist. Then Dany and the dragons show up, save the day, made queen, ect.

Just my guess though. No spoiler websites or anything that led me to believe that.

I honestly think that may have been worse writing than the Dorne plot. Not only was the Lady Crane reappearance completely contrived (the only person she can rely on just so happens to be a medical expert!), but there is absolutely no way Arya could ever pull the s*** she does with a wound like that. We're supposed to believe that Arya's training means something and she wanders aimlessly around Braavos in broad daylight when she knows the most dangerous group of assassins in the world is after her. That's the kind of BS Walking Dead pulls, not Game of Thrones.

When the next book comes out, if that's the way it still goes down with Arya, I'm sure there will be a lot more story so it isn't so contrived and cheap feeling.

I feel like wun wun is gonna die

I have the uneasy feeling, even though it is not probable, that they kill each other off. I hope not, but with the show going where no book has gone before, we really don't know for sure. It would definitely shock the world to kill Jonny boy off again, but that little snippet he gave Mel in the preview "If I fall, don't bring me back" has me wondering. He doesn't seem to have his crap together and focused like I thought he would after being brought back. As bad as Ramsey is, he isn't going to eradicate humanity. The WW are the true enemy.

No one knows where Bran is right now. I understand skipping him. Why they are skipping Rickon? And I suspect it's because he is about to die

IMO Bran will do basically what Maestor Aemon did, and abdicate any right he has to the North. He is a cripple that cannot have children, and he has that whole Three eyed raven thing to do..I think Littlefinger is going to come in at the last minute to save the day, and then try to consolidate his power in the North and East by marrying Sansa. Then moving on the Freys in the Riverlands and taking them. Jaime is going to march all the Lannister army back southward leaving the hated Freys in charge of the devastated riverlands. Just a cockeyed theory, but not any more than others I've heard
