It's a bit concerning to think what Dooley's agenda might be. The last thing UT needs is for the media to have new material that paints the university and the football program in a negative light. And there was nothing positive about the Dooley era.
Chesney is a Tennessee fan, but he is also an SEC fan. Hence his confusing behavior.
My guess is that it will be a passive-aggressive interview. Dooley's a personable guy, but he has a rapier wit. He will say what he thinks will further his agenda without trashing UT, but the media will spin it for headlines. I just don't see this as a positive for UT-- not right now. But it's in his best interests to play nice, so maybe he will.
