Love to see home and home with illinois. The Big Orange could take over Memorial Stadium and we'd hang 50 on the Illini.

Ohio State, Michigan, Clemson, Stanford, USCw, Oregon, UCLA, Florida State, Cal, Miami, Penn State in no certain order. I say lets play the most powerful and the ones with the greatest traditions in the country.

I would take Duke off the list. I have no desire to beat Cut. Add Oklahoma back to the list because we owe them a couple of ass-beatings.

There are so many I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Top 5 (No particular order):

1. Clemson
2. OSU
3. Michigan
4. FSU
5.Notre Dame

Those are 5 teams with a lot of history, talent, and some pretty insufferable fan bases. Would love a chance to bring them down a notch and maybe even see our Vols play in such historic venues.

10 Non-Conference Games We'd Love To See | Rocky Top Insider

Pretty good list actually. I may change the order a bit

My top 3 from that list would be Mich,Ohio St and USC. Unfortunately it seems these home and homes are becoming less frequent because of all the damn kickoff and neutral site games. I would take home and home over neutral site games any day. I would love to see a home and home, then the 3rd year do a neutral site game then go back to a home and home 2 more years after that. Just like Ala has had neutral site games the last 4+ years and play USC in one this year. But I do admit that opening weekend of football that has Ala vs USC, Clemson vs AU,LSU vs Wisc and Ole Miss vs FSU will make for some great opening weekend football to watch. Really glad we got moved to the Thurs night game.

We haven't had much luck the last 10 years in these power 5 OOC games (UCLA, Oregon, Oklahoma)

You're exactly right. But we are back to where we can compete and win our share of those games. I love those home and home series. Gives us the chance to go see other college stadiums we normally wouldn't go to plus those games are way more fun to watch than the Western Kentucky's,Troy,Ohio etc type games. I love one good OOC game a year then schedule 3 other easier OOC games. I have always loved that UT has taken that exact stance as far back as I can remember. Just unfortunate those home and home type series are happening less and less with more neutral site games popping up every year.
