we got rid of recruiting coordinator, I say chances of that are a big no! We will sign a huge class, bank on itI am also worried that like last year Holly narrowing her scope to maybe Dodson, Boothe, and Westbrooks will wait on them before McKinney who will probably turn out to be as good as any of them. I have to believe that if McKinney has an offer she would want to play right here at home without much info on her recruiting hard to know how we stand with her.
I think getting rid of the recruiting coordinator may have been the correct move.
She needs to be able to score, though. Even if she's a strong defensive player, they can't go through another season of playing 4-on-5 when they have the ball.
I'm hoping she can be a Kiah Stokes type player, a pure defensive stopper who may not have a lot of scoring potential, but takes advantage of defenses lack of respect for her scoring and capitalizes on open looks.
Maya Dodson is down to seven teams Tennessee, UConn, Maryland, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Duke, and Stanford. I did not see Georgia on that list was sort of surprised by that.
Westbrooks cut her list to nine and were on it. So are Oregon State and Washington. Were in Patterson's top four I am beginning to think we can get her to Tennessee. Boothe is up to five teams Tennessee is one. We only need one of these three players and my first choice would be Boothe and second choice Patterson. Still wondering about Hayes she has visited us, SC, and couple others i suspect Vandy will go after here hard with Peck. Same for Harrison. I don't expect many players to commit in June of July. Everything should pick up late August and September.

I know we haven't signed anyone yet for the 2017 class, but according to Twitter Coach Reeves is making a major impact on the recruiting trail. Dana Evans a dynamic guard out of the state of Indiana has added Tennessee to her list. I'm only hearing good news about the new recruiting coordinator. Hopefully we'll sign a super class for 2017.
I thought McCune went elsewhere because Tennessee lost interest as her stocked dropped last summer. Did Tennessee still offer her? That is also what scares me passing up on talent (McCune) while waiting on someone better to sign (McCoy, Cox) and end up have the player you scaled back your recruiting efforts on (McCune) end up else were and you have to go the Grad Transfer route (Nunn) and a 3star prospect who some think will take a couple years to develop to play at this level (Harris) in a position of need and we saw what happened with the last 3star Post recruit we signed (Moore) she barely saw the floor! Please get it right this time Holly and Company because their are no scapegoats this year!
I think Westbrook is awesome. but I also think it will be hard for anyone other than Washington to snag her, as her AAU coach Kelly Sopak is rumored to be hired as the new assistant coach for the Huskies. That's also most likely the reason why Sabrina Ionescu suddenly added Washington to the list after previously narrowing it down to Oregon, Oregon St., and Cal. Now it's down to Washington and Oregon (where her twin brother starts this fall as a walkon). Natalie Romeo, a transfer from Nebraska, also played for Sopak and the Cal Stars and she just signed with Washington as well, further fueling the speculation.South Salem's Evina Westbrook lives up to billing with selection to USA U18 basketball team - OregonLive.com
Didn't know she took an unofficial visit to Tennessee i only knew about the home visit from the coaches.
