HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I've read all the books. Two books after her introduction, I just don't find the character appealing or necessary. Especially not after GRRM gave his reasons for including her.

alright cool. you have your opinion and we have ours.

i think it's time we move on.

you ship those copies to me yet?

I'm glad somebody finally remembered that the whole sparrow thing is Cersei's fault. I got tired of people feeling sorry for her.

Link could be a spoiler for some, it isn't any confirmation of anything, but it would be an awesome development.

Sorry, I don't know how to do the spoiler tag so don't click if you don't like guesses about future events.

edited because I didn't know it had a title

just type [ spoiler] words [ /spoiler] (minus the spaces)

I've read a few interesting theories about Arya and the Waif, but I'm thinking...
the Waif, being jealous of Arya's position as a lady of a great house (which shows she's still someone), asked if she could kill Arya and instead decided to go to Westeros as Arya. So the Waif (disguised as Arya) was the one who was stabbed, and Arya was the Waif in that seen.

I don't recall any mention of that in the books, but I flew through them the first time and just started my second time through. If the White Walkers do have that power, I would've expected them to use it at Hardhome when Jon and the Wildlings were fleeing by boat, but I suppose it could be something they can only do when everyone in Westeros is dead.

They would turn the entire world into the Land that is always winter.

Hmm. I like that.

Which one? I'm still waiting on old Maggie the frogs main one to come true. I think JL is the one to do the deed. Not what Cersei has always thought. He did pop out second.

That she would die at the hands of the "Valonqar", which is the word for "little brother"

Cersei goes full Mad King Aerys. Tries to burn the city to the ground with Wildfire. Jaime kills her. Everything comes full circle. The Dragon vision that Dany had about the Red Keep being in ruins comes true.

Yeah that's the one I figured you were talking about. It wont happen till close to the end though imo, maybe the last show. I figure he will do her in for one of two reasons...he catches her doing the nasty with someone else, or to try and keep her from obliterating Kings landing like he did Aerys.

Interesting take...a different little brother than what she, and pretty much all of us, have surmised. Never thought of that.

She is always wrong, remember that. Cersie thinks she is smarter than everyone. But she was lucky that Robert was a total bafoon

I have a feeling one of Cersei's prophecies will come true.

I still think the Valinquar is the hound

I don't believe they're including the valonqar prophecy in the show. It wasn't brought up at all in the Maggy the Frog flashback back last season.

Book wise, I'm betting it's referring to Jaime.

Wasn't it brought up this season when Jaime told her that they are taking back what's theirs?

I agree that the show may not ever relate that, but if Jaime is the one to do it in the books, no way he doesn't in the show. That is too big a plot twist to ignore. It is stupid that the show never portrayed those prophecies anyway. It would explain the motivations behind her hatred/fear of Tyrion much better.

I got the impression that the hound is being baited. The horse guys seemed to recognize him the first time they showed up and left because of he was there. I think they came back specifically because he was there, they just waited till he was away from camp to do so. Baited into what, though, I have no idea.

I didn't get any vibes that the Banner boys noticed the Hound at all. Their attention seem fixated on the head hippy the whole time.

wait, you have copies of Winds of Winter and Dream of Spring?! Holy hell that's awesome! You happen to be related to George or something?

So uh...would you mind slipping me those copies? I'll keep it between us, i promise.

Time machines DO exist...:)

So Cersi's last living child has the largest red target in Westeros taped to his royal back.... will she do us all a favor and off herself once His Royal Highness gets clipped?? (<---- pure speculation)
