The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

Vandy's QB is absolutely horrendous. All of their QB's are actually.

He looked pretty good for a freshman against our first team D in the 2nd quarter of our game on those 2 drives. He has a good arm. At least IMO, with some more experience under his belt he will be a pretty good QB. His 2 problems will be, will he have enough capable WRs to throw to, and will he have an OL that can protect him. Probably not.

Honestly I think Vandy has a shot at finishing 4th in the east ahead of Mizzou, SC, and Kentucky. But probably not. lol

they did last year. and its funny that 4-8 under mason lands them in the exact same spot 9-4 did under Franklin in the SEC East.

You know? It's almost so bad and over the top that you have to wonder if the person who made it was serious.

Yeah and the guy's voice is so ultra-nerdy that it sounds like someone making fun of Vanderbilt. That's what I would go with if I were a Vandy fan. I sure wouldn't claim that.

Oh...dear...Lord...

"You can turn Nashville into a black and gold city!"

There's something to be said about a college that doesn't rule their hometown already.

But he claims it's the best football city in the sec.

It's a logical fallacy in action. It assumes that Nashville is a quality city because Vanderbilt is in it. He has a problem with correlation not equating causation.

Nashville is a great city, but I don't think Nashville would be noticeably different if Vanderbilt wasn't here.

Never have. Never will.

I'd tend to think there really is only one city in Tennessee that doesn't bleed orange fully and unconditionally. Memphis. And even there I'd guess the split between UM, Ole Miss and UT is probably somewhat even.

Anyone in the Memphis area that can confirm?

I was listening to102.5 in Nashville this morning, and they were interviewing a country singer( I believe the CMA Fest is this week). They were talking about what a great sports town Nashville is.

The singer said as he went around town, he was amazed at how many UT fans there were. The host said " uh, you mean Vandy fans, right?" The singer replied " well yeah, can"t leave out the 12 Vandy fans, but man there's a lot of folks wearing Orange around here".

The host quickly changed the subject, and I laughed...A LOT.
GO.VOLS!
