2016 Election Thread Part Deux

For not getting involved in the email controversy of Clinton, Bernie is certainly getting involved in the email controversy of Clinton:

Sanders: Americans, superdelegates must 'take a hard look' at IG report on Clinton emails | Fox News

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders said Sunday that American voters, superdelegates and others must “take a hard look” at the recent federal report that found primary rival Hillary Clinton’s email setup while running the State Department broke agency rules.

“It was not a good report for Secretary Clinton. That is something that the American people, Democrats and delegates are going to have to take a hard look at," Sanders told CBS' "Face the Nation," during one of two TV network interviews Sunday.

On Sunday, Sanders, desperately trailing the front-running Clinton in the delegate count, continued to not comment directly on the controversy.

But he repeated the notion that superdelegates, of which he needs more in a longshot bid to take the nomination, should indeed scrutinize the report.

The problem with the Libertarian Party is that they entertain utter nonsense from their base. For example two items addressed during the debate were:

Should we sell heroin to 5 yr olds ( and when one candidate said no he was booed by many)

Should we have drivers licenses

And finally this man was a speaker at the convention

It's sort of a public forum where they allow anyone to speak. One person wanted to have an official mascot from a Harry Potter group. Yeah, we have some crazies. Yes, they're given their turn to speak. But at least our candidates doen't promote them the way trump does his "Obamas a Muslim" or "Obama was born in Africa" crowd.

And why should we have drivers licenses?

He ran when I was in college. Hated the options of Clinton or Bush. He had more buzz than any third party candidate since. Perot was always on CNN (only game in town back then). He ended up with 14 - 15% (I think). No third party option has even come close to repeating what that crazy Texan did.

Johnson will not break 10% even if he is in debates no matter what the current polls are saying.

Had he chosen a better VP candidate his numbers would have been much higher. Thanks to Perot the Clintons were born..... Bastage

That was the start of his downfall. The end was his speech to the NAACP when he called them "you people," and said that his parents told him when he was growing up that the blacks "were people too." The news media jumped on that remark and made him into a condescending racist.

Oh man. I had COMPLETELY forgotten that. He was destroyed in the media for saying those things.

That's one way to lose an election

Hillary Clinton to be Indicted on Federal Racketeering Charges - U.S.POLITICS

James Comey and The FBI will present a recommendation to Loretta Lynch, Attorney General of the Department of Justice, that includes a cogent argument that the Clinton Foundation is an ongoing criminal enterprise engaged in money laundering and soliciting bribes in exchange for political, policy and legislative favors to individuals, corporations and even governments both foreign and domestic.

...

“The New York Times examined Bill Clinton’s relationship with a Canadian mining financier, Frank Giustra, who has donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation and sits on its board. Clinton, the story suggests, helped Giustra’s company secure a lucrative uranium-mining deal in Kazakhstan and in return received “a flow of cash” to the Clinton Foundation, including previously undisclosed donations from the company’s chairman totaling $2.35 million.”

NEW YORK – The Obama administration continues to suppress at least 12 versions of a 451-page draft indictment charging Hillary Clinton with criminal misconduct in the Whitewater case, according to an index in the National Archives obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request by the Washington-based watchdog Judicial Watch.
One of the indictments specifically lists “overt acts” allegedly committed by the former first lady.

It follows Judicial Watch’s release on Jan. 28 of 246 pages of previously undisclosed internal memos from Ken Starr’s Office of Independent Council investigation in 1998. The memos showed prosecutors had evidence that Hillary Clinton and her associate Webb Hubbell at the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, Arkansas, were guilty of criminal fraud in the Whitewater affair.
