Conservatives by nature are resistant to change, and more specifically rapid change. So the stance by most here is expected.

I'm not trying to position this as a bad thing; successful society requires both conservative and progressive elements. These type of debates are necessary components of societal life cycle.

You know, we aren't supposed to judge one faith based on terrorism, but if one Christian does something, then they judge all off Christianity. And furthermore you nincompoop the way the law is written and what's being advocated is for people to be able to use whatever facilities they identify with. It requires no fakery to use the opposite sexes facilities, a bearded lumberjack could walk in to a woman's locker room for a shower and not a damn thing can be done.

That is a fact....people are more likely to be molested by a family member...its why I don't allow my kids to be alone with people I don't explicitly trust. The bathroom issue to me is about limiting risks...It wasn't that long ago that a man snuck inside a bathroom in Maryville and tried to grab a woman that came in there. With the new laws, he is allowed to go in any time he wants too. It seems that we are catering to a very small portion of the population while putting women and kids at risk.

Gender identity is included in many companies non discrimination policy including my employer. It's not an issue.

No I don't and didn't oppose gays in the military, they were always there especially in the Air Force.

Yes something can be done, quit ****ing with what's working. Transsexuals have been using the facilities they identified with forever without any issues I've ever heard of, why? Because they are true transsexuals who dressed and lived the part. Now any Tom Dick or Suzy can use whatever facility they want.

It cracked me up the way the story is written.....they barely mention the other 30 men but give the life stories of the two supposed Christians. Im glad they got busted and out of the church.
