9-1-16? (Vols' season opener moved to Thursday)

You have yet to make one valid point in this entire exchange. Don't think I would refer to anyone as 'stupid' or an 'idiot' unless you want to look....well you figure it out.

There is no argument. That's what you don't get. Some fans don't like it. (The "anger" you are trying to apply to it is your perception, not reality). For a person who works a 9-5 Monday through Friday job, who doesn't live in Knoxvile, a Thursday night game is a lot harder to attend. That's just a fact.

Va Tech is on the level of a team that was FBS school a couple of years ago? You're clueless. And remind me, who are you again to tell me to shut up? You've proven nothing, but I'll let you and the other Social Justice Warriors in this thread soothe each others egos and think you actually made a valid point. Sorry you guys are too incompetent to figure out alternate plans 3 and 1/2 months from now.

ok.......I gave you an answer and you rebuffed it. Fair enough.

So now its my turn. Give me an team that lost a NC game yet won an NC game.

Or can you? Your turn, mouth.

Mouth? Sorry, I don't give in to supposed internet 'tough' guys. Besides, that wasn't the terms of the agreement.

So it's perception even though we can read through this very thread, listen to the yahoos on the radio complaining about it? If you really believe that, I don't think you're based in reality. And there are a lot of arguments, you just don't care to acknowledge any of them, thus you using the Busch league spelling comment instead of continuing to have a real discussion.

I work an 8:30 - 5:30 job M-F. I also have vacation time, sick days, etc. I'm also aware there are other games I could attend. I could go on and on, but these inconvenient truths have already been mentioned in this thread. You and your buddies are seemingly upset because it kills an opportunity to be angry about something. And again I reiterate, it's 3 and 1/2 months away. I forgot that the football forum doesn't like logic and common sense. So I'll go back to a forum where people don't misuse words like 'fact' or think Appy State's program is in the same ballpark as Virginia Tech.

The magnitude of the game may be different but the circumstances people are using as an excuse to keep them from going to the Appy State game are the same.

I would miss two days of work, keep my kids out of school, rent a hotel room, etc for a National Championship game. I had planned on driving 3 hours on a Sat morning and watching the App State game and drive back. But I won't miss work, keep kids out of school, etc for App State. I will now watch TN play App State on a Thurs from my couch.

Cool. Catch you next home game.

No they aren't. Don't be stupid.

What's stupid is the above post and not addressing any of the supporting comments I made where I drew similarities between the 2.

A lot of betas gathering together to fight the good fight of false anger tonight. You guys enjoy your internet high fives. Maybe you guys should start a petition. You can make the heading 'From the gaggle of entitled pricks'

Here we go with this nonsense. 'You don't have kids don't you'. Is that the only way you can bring any validity to this? You inferred yourself this isn't a big game. Do you go to more than one game a year? Can you not get your money back? I'm sure this will be addressed by the university. If you get a refund, are you still angry? If so, you have a you problem.

Pony up and buy the tickets from those that now can't go or STFU. I have one to start with.

this is your nonsense. I'm not jumping on the hand grenade for you. Last, i checked you were the one that suggested a team could lose to a marginal team and win a nc. I don't feel the least bit bad for your situation. People with your attitude creates your own grief.

Not really. But way to deflect your deficiencies on me. I'm sure other dense people think you are really smart though.

nah, they just understand you are dense.....you are trying to make points in an argument that make no sense. There are situationally NO similarities between the NC game and Appy St. You were shown an example of a team losing to a chump team then winning the NC. If I recall correctly OSU jumped a more deserving team also. You continue to make up shiite to justify your already indefensible position. You are truly that dense.
