2016 Election Thread Part Deux

It's absolutely frightening that the best that either establishment could put in front of the American people are Hillary and Trump. ****ing sad.

But instead of writing in a name, or voting for something different like many say they want. You'll have a strong majority of Americans vote Republican or Democrat simply because of a damn color beside the name. ****ing sad.

And the wheels keep turning American. They keep turning. ****ing sad.

Ok rant over.

If the American people want real change, they should refuse to vote for either major party this election.

correct me if I'm wrong, but there were 11 Republican nominees and the American people overwhelmingly voted Trump. I don't see what the establishment has to do with that.

They don't though, and that is the problem. They don't want the other guy's candidate to win because it is always someone else's fault. MY guy is the good guy donchaknow.

There was a fellow on tv the other day saying that there was some sort of group contemplating putting up individual candidates in about a half a dozen states. One per state. The theory is that if they win a few of them, they can prevent Trump of Clinton from getting to 270, throwing the election to the House under the 12th Amendment.

Has not happened since 1825. But, my understanding is you can't choose anyone. Has to be someone from top 3. So does not seem like it would do much.

The establishment got us to this point, and the American people are dumb.

That's the connection.

APNewsAlert: US sees indications that hackers, possibly working for foreign governments, are spying on presidential candidates

And probably like us, shaking their heads wondering how it could possible come down to this level.

Precisely the reason that Congressional approval ratings are in the gutter and the same people keep showing up in Congress year after year.

Like perhaps you and I, they thought that the American voter was a patriot, not an ignorant, naive foreign agent. But it's fine with them. Makes their job a whole lot easier.

Sanders vs Wasserman

The problem with Sanders is that he can't be silenced by being offered a job inside the Clinton administration if Hillary wins..he's an ideologue and may be responsible for a Trump presidency..lots of Bern it all down followers out there that will sit out or vote for the Green party over Hillary.

Bernie Sanders camp slams Debbie Wasserman Schultz for 'throwing shade' - POLITICO

I ask most Bernie supporters that I meet how they feel about Hillary Clinton sabotaging the revolution.

By the time I'm done with them, they are seething with hate on Hillary. And the odd thing is, not once has someone taken issue with my characterization of the Bernie movement as a revolution.

Good times!!

"Poll that also finds majorities of voters feel both frontrunners lack strong moral values and will say anything to get elected."

The truth.
Then they should have voted for Ben Carson or Rick Santorum. People don't want the truth, and don't want anyone with morals. They think people with morals are Bible thumpers.

Do not confuse a country that seeks true diversity with those fake countries in Europe.

Anyone and their brother can deal with a few token minorities on the streets of the local shopping district. It takes a true democracy to make 10,000,000 sq km and 325 million to work.

They're no longer reproducing, so their leaders are letting in an untenable number of refugees. This will not work. Europe is killing itself. Whether it be its refusal to create newborn children or its inability to stifle an endless flow of refugees that are too culturally different, Europe will soon come to an end, at least as we have known it.

Say what you will, but America is robust. We're a society that is set up to deal with these kinds of things, no matter how imperfect.

You're going to live, whether you like it or not, and you're going to watch Europe burn, from the comfort of 3,750 nautical miles.

You're right and the fire has already started. Europe has screwed the pooch and they're about to reap the consequences.Londonisistan and Parisascus are already screwed.
