I'm sure they are much more comfortable with the Loose Cannon, the guy who suggests withdrawing from Nato one minute, and reconfirms commitment to Europe the next. The guy who says he might nuke someplace in the Middle East one minute, and then the next says we should not be there at all. The guy who says one minute that we should take specific steps in the Middle East to make our intent clear, and who the next says that he will never specify his foreign policy intention because there is value to being vague and unpredictable.

Finger pointing articles like this fail to include what else was attached to the bill; in fact one of these was an an attachment to another bill. So the real unaddressed point is whether these were the real issues voted down or just associated casualties. Partisans spin these things all day - it's what they do; if the truth is ever told, it's incidental. The legislative process has to be revised to permit only one issue per bill; that's the only way we will ever know what our legislators are really doing and what they really stand for.

The VA was a $$$$ show before Obama and it will be one after Obama. It's just a sad fact that veterans are gonna get screwed over by politicians no matter which political party.

He doesn't bring those to our attention. Only Trump issues. Only person I've seen show this much anger against Trump is my future ex FIL.

Those threats were real. I read them. Blew them off as vocal idiots. Same as I do "Trumps Butler".
