2016 Election Thread Part Deux

You worry too much about the GOP. Last I checked, Obama nor Biden has endorsed HRC, yet they support her. Your parties leading candidate has a long list of scandals and is under FBI investigation. Yet you continue to point out the GOP's problems and the Dems have problems too.

So just be honest with yourself and remove the blinders. You fkn Libtards are the worst humans on this planet.

The Republican primary, and now it's outcome, has been FAR more interesting than the Dem process.

So Trump loses even worse. Whatever.

The only way they are even considering this if they hope Romney and whoever he picks as a running mate can win enough states to deny both Clinton & Trump 270 and allow the House of Representatives to pick Romney as the next President.

People continue to underestimate how strongly everyday people feel about illegal immigration. These same people are in favor of legal immigration so they don't like being labeled racists. Hence Trump has won the nomination and people are still shaking their heads wondering how. Hopefully the Democratic party will continue making the same mistakes.

I think that is probably the end game, but it won't work.

Hatred of illegal immigration is highly misguided.

How? I think it's very simple for most americans.

WE WANT THE WORKERS THAT ARE HERE TO PAY TAXES AND PULL THEIR WEIGHT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. PERIOD .

the average person against illegal immigration doesn't hate mexicans, doesn't want them all deported, doesn't want to be labeled a bigot or racist when they are not. It really posses them off to be called racist. They just want a level playing field. That's it.

What makes Trump "anti estlabishment"?

He is anti-establishment in the Republican sense.

One problem for his ardent supporters...

-1x-1.jpg

He is every bit a part of the Democratic Party establishment.

Trump's hiring of Mnuchin for Campaign Finance Chairman should tell everyone all they need to know about the direction the GOP nominee is taking his new-found party in.

This is a George Soros liberal with modest associations with Surrender Wing Republicans. They are going to try to win donors from the liberal side of the aisle. To do that, they are going to have to tie themselves to left-wing policies.

Trump wants a Sun-Bern to go along with that orange spray tan.

Give him credit for taking full advantage of the snubs from the GOP establishment. No one has been better than Trump at controlling the message quickly. He's like a political Nathan Bedford Forrest: he gets the message out "firstest" with the "mostest" power. That will serve him well during the campaign season.

I think that is probably the end game, but it won't work.

I was playing with the electoral map just now and it is a hard thing to do. Here is what I think each candidate would have to win to deny each candidate the path to 270:

Romney - 92
Texas
Oklahoma
Kansas
North Dakota
South Dakota
Montana
Wyoming
Utah
Arizona
Idaho
Alaska

Trump - 99
Mississippi
Alabama
Tennessee
Arkansas
Kentucky
Missouri
Georgia
South Carolina
West Virginia
Indiana

Clinton - 265
California
Washington
Oregon
New York
Nevada
Colorado
New Mexico
Michigan
Minnesota
Illinois
Iowa
Vermont
Mass
New Hampshire
Maine
Rhode Island
Virginia
Maryland
Delaware
New Jersey
Connecticut
D.C.
Hawaii

So basically either Trump or Romney would have to win Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Florida to deny anyone the electoral college outright.

Illegal immigrants pay taxes. And they do pull their weight.

No they don't . I work with 300 of them. Three hundred of them. They get 1099s. They do not pay a cent of taxes.none. so the carpenters on my job that make 15 dollars an hour and work 55 hours a week actually take home more than I do ...because I pay 300 dollars a week in taxes. Don't speak about what you don't know. Right here In NC where you live. The roofers on my job...work for cash. Don't speak a word of english. I am bilingual. I speak Spanish. They don't pay a penny in taxes. 30 dollars a square cash. What about all the ones that hang out at home Depot and lowes? They work for cash paid daily...not a cent in taxes.

I just gave you a bunch of real world examples that I see every day. People i actually know.construction workers .

Mitt Romney has talked with William Kristol about running as a third-party candidate.

I don't see anything coming of this personally. Kristol likes to run his mouth and has since Trump has been leading in the polls. I doubt Romney goes for a third party run because he won't have any official GOP backing in the matter. And if he was smart, he would have told Kristol to back off.

Remember, this is the same Kristol that publicly said he would rather see Hillary win than Trump:

Bill Kristol: I Would Rather See Hillary Win Than Trump

So it's about time for the GOP to marginalize him and shut him down.

What does them speaking English have to do with anything? And they do pay taxes. Perhaps they're not paying income taxes like you, but they do pay taxes. Why should anyone have to pay income taxes?
