I sincerely hope Trump is right that all we're going to be doing in a Trump presidency is winning, because, thus far this entire election cycle, all we've been doing is losing. All of us.

This election kind of reminds me of what has long been said about America's misguided, ill-fated attempts to spread democracy in the Middle East: basically, even if we achieve that goal, all the people will do, once they're enfranchised, is just vote Islamic theocrats into office and promptly put an end to their short-lived democracy.

Likewise, once the American people were upset enough with the establishment and the system, and demanding their democracy back, all they have gone and done so far is nominate Il Duce, while the most egregious establishment figure today is soon to follow. What kind of sense does any of that make?

Trump is liberal in conservative clothing, that's the estabs problem with him. The larger problem is the electorate is as usual, left to choose between the lesser of the two evils. :shakehead:

Might as well hold the election in Rio and get it over with.

It's not like non-citizens aren't voting in the US elections anyway.
