Still waiting for Kelvin Taylor to be drafted. Pretty sure I read that he's better than Derrick Henry

If D4H said it then it's a sure thing. I hope he predicts UT to lose every game this season since it's clear anything he predicts and says is crap
He's right a whole lot more often than he is wrong.....just ask him. You just dont get football like him and you are a moron for even questioning his predictions.

You're right. We need to get him his own scouting service and a show on ESPN. Why stop there let's give hI'm Butch's head coaching position

Defensive Players

1. Myles Jack will be the best player from this class

- I'm also high on Ezekiel Elliott. I go back n forth each day on who is better. Today I'm feeling Jack. This kid has it all. Size, speed, athleticism, and instincts. He's the total package at the Will linebacker position. Don't believe the smokescreen about his knee. He's the #1 player on most teams boards and they desperately want him to fall.

Looks like Jack's knee injury was a lot more serious than I thought. I'll now give Ezekiel Elliott the crown of best player from the 2016 class.

1. Kelvin Taylor will be a better NFL back than Derrick Henry

I disagree with you on this one. Henry will play more than Taylor because he has the better skills.

2. Jared Goff will be a bust and Kevin Hogan will surprise

I partially agree with you on this one. I don't think Jared Goff will be a bust. But, there's a chance that Hogan may end having a better/similar career as Goff.

3. Sterling Shepard is the best WR in this draft

We're close to agreement on this one. I have Josh Doctson as the best overall WR from this draft. I have Laquon Treadwell as the 2nd best. I have Sterling Shepard as the 3rd best. Corey Coleman was picked as the 1st WR & that shocked me a little.

I've been hearing it's because of his pure speed but I would have to put him at 4th or 5th best WR in my view. I would place Will Fuller over him probably so that would make Coleman 5th on my board.

1. Myles Jack will be the best player from this class

I also disagree with you on this one. I think he has too much question about his knee just like Jaylon Smith even though Smith's knee injury is much worse. If Jaylon Smith heals like the way he needs his knee to no doubt he will be not only the best LB but best overall defensive player in this draft.

2. Karl Joseph and Keanu Neal will make more pro bowls than Jalen Ramsey and Vernon Hargraeves

I agree with you on 1 of these players but not the other. I do not believe Neal will be the better player/make more Pro Bowls than Jalen Ramsey. I do believe that Karl Joseph will be the better player & make more Pro Bowls than Hargreaves.

3. All the top edge rushers in this draft will be BUSTS

Hate to say it but I agree with you on this one too. Don't see Bosa doing anything. Buckner is a no as well. Leonard Floyd might have the best shot of these 3 at being the better edge rusher but I still don't think he will be very good.

I think actually Shaq Lawson from Clemson has the overall best chance to become the best edge rusher of them all.

I also think if Robert Nkemdiche from Ole Miss can be moved to DE from DT he could end up being the best of them all. He has the size to do it. He has the quickness. Way more quickness than most DT's.

That's why he could make the move to DE so easily. He could play both positions but I honestly believe he could do more damage being a DE & a pass rusher than playing inside at DT.

Kevin Dodd who is Lawson's teammate from Clemson I think will be better than any edge rushers taken in the 1st round except maybe Shaq Lawson.

Ronald Blair from App State who was a late round pick might end up being better than some/most of these 1st round edge rushers.

D4H's Draft wrap up

Best Picks Day 1

1. RB Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys) - best player in the draft...reminds me of LaDanian Tomlinson
2. S Karl Joseph (Raiders) - best defensive back in the draft...reminds me of Troy Polamalu mixed with Bob Sanders
3. S Keanu Neal (Falcons) - elite safety in the NFL...reminds me of a smaller Kam Chancellor
4. DT Kenny Clark (Packers) - will be a nice DT to replace BJ Raji...expect a sneaky good pro career
5. DE Robert Nkemdiche (Cardinals) - steal of the first round...reminds me of a more athletic Darnell Dockett

Best Picks Day 2

1. WR Sterling Shepard (Giants) - best WR in this class...reminds me of Randall Cobb
2. QB Christian Hackenberg (Jets) - very underrated...reminds me of Jay Cutler
3. CB Mackenzie Alexander (Vikings) - poor man's Darrelle Revis...I love his confidence and swagger...will be a better corner than Ramsey and Hargreaves
4. WR Tyler Boyd (Bengals) - sneaky good...reminds me of Keenan Allen
5. DE Jonathan Bullard (Bears) - love this guy...he'll be a problem in the league...reminds me of Jurrell Casey of the Titans

Day 3 Steals

1. RB Jonathan Williams (Bills) - will be a starting RB in the league
2. QB Kevin Hogan (Chiefs) - shocked he went this low...I think he has Kirk Cousins potential...can be a good starter
3. RB Kelvin Taylor (49ers) - will be the second best RB from this class...reminds me of Frank Gore

Bust Special

1. QB Jared Goff (Rams) - Sam Bradford/ Alex Smith type bust...highly doubt he becomes a top tier QB
2. DE Joey Bosa (Chargers) - stiff and unathletic...might have a decent career like Kyle Vanden Bosch but will never live up to being the 3rd overall pick
3. DT DeForest Buckner (49ers) - bad pick...reminds me of his teammate Arik Armstead
4. OLB Leonard Floyd (Bears) - no idea why he went this high...reminds me of busts Dion Jordan and Barkevious Mingo
5. OT Taylor Decker (Lions) - unathletic stiff...no idea why he went this high

Agree with you on every single one of these as being bust except partially not on Jared Goff. Read my previous post: http://www.volnation.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12579795&postcount=97 Thanks!

I disagree with you on this one. Henry will play more than Taylor because he has the better skills.

Kelvin Taylor has exceptional cutting ability. Henry's cutting ability is non-existent. That will be the separator. And it's why I have so much confidence in Kelvin.

I partially agree with you on this one. I don't think Jared Goff will be a bust. But, there's a chance that Hogan may end having a better/similar career as Goff.

Goff just comes off as soft to me. A lot like Sam Bradford.

We're close to agreement on this one. I have Josh Doctson as the best overall WR from this draft. I have Laquon Treadwell as the 2nd best. I have Sterling Shepard as the 3rd best. Corey Coleman was picked as the 1st WR & that shocked me a little.

I agree with you on Coleman. Just don't see it with him. This is a weak WR class. After Shepard, I like Tyler Boyd. He reminds me of Keenan Allen of the Chargers. Doctson and Treadwell will be decent but I don't see them as stars.

I also disagree with you on this one. I think he has too much question about his knee just like Jaylon Smith even though Smith's knee injury is much worse. If Jaylon Smith heals like the way he needs his knee to no doubt he will be not only the best LB but best overall defensive player in this draft.

When I wrote that post I didn't know the seriousness of Jack's knee injury. I didn't know he needed microfracture surgery. If he gets that procedure I don't think he ever lives up to his potential.

I agree with you on 1 of these players but not the other. I do not believe Neal will be the better player/make more Pro Bowls than Jalen Ramsey. I do believe that Karl Joseph will be the better player & make more Pro Bowls than Hargreaves.

Neal will be a great box safety. I can see him having a career like Kam Chancellor. Ramsey will also have a good career. I compare him to Antonio Cromartie. I however don't see him as the superstar he was hyped as.

Hate to say it but I agree with you on this one too. Don't see Bosa doing anything. Buckner is a no as well. Leonard Floyd might have the best shot of these 3 at being the better edge rusher but I still don't think he will be very good.

Ronald Blair from App State who was a late round pick might end up being better than some/most of these 1st round edge rushers.

Agree with you on Nkemdiche. His ideal position is 3-4 DE where he's allowed to rush the passer like JJ Watt.

I also like Ronald Blair. Another small school sleeper is South Carolina State DT Javon Hargraves who was drafted by the Steelers. I could see him doing better than most of the big school DTs drafted ahead of him.
