Named Alpha Male at Charlotte, The Opening Regional! His high school coach said, "Higgins is the best receiver in the last two classes!" Kid killed it! Punched his ticket for the Finals in July to be held at the Nike World Headquarters in Oregon.

Oak Ridge (Tenn.) High five-star recruit Tee Higgins, the nation’s No. 1 receiver per 247Sports, performed like it turning his game up a notch during 1-on-1s getting open on a variety of routes including a hitch, an 18-yard comeback, an out and of course down field.

In addition to the great length at 6-foot-5, 190-pounds, Higgins has an outstanding second gear, and his hands are outstanding.

...Ranked by 247Sports as the No. 6 player overall, Higgins is the best receiver I’ve seen when you combine 2016 and 2017. Truly a special talent.

Top Performers: The Opening Regional in Charlotte 2016

Tee Higgins is the country's best receiver

I actually take the quotes as he knows he's coming to UT and wants to save some things to look forward to. He doesn't need to see it all now because he'll have years for that.

Exactly This - he wants his official visit to feel fresh and exciting I think, maybe. :)

Yea seems like the timer was off about .25 seconds to slow on all these kids.

More than likely most 40 times are way faster than the kids really are. I have noticed that when kids get to the combine most are a lot slower than they were in HS which shows you most of the fast times are bogus.

4.75? That has got to be bogus. There is no freakin way Tee is that slow.

A Nike camp also clocked Preston at a 4.7 and Dobbs at a 4.9 FWIW. I don't think it's worth putting much stock in the 40 times at these camps. Most kids who show up don't even know the proper way to run a 40 yard dash anyway, and a poor start can add tenths of a second to your time.
