I would take a beating from Florida and a squeaker over Bama any day. Let's be honest,this "lose 11 games as long as we bear X" is a bunch of bull that no one actually means. Look at Auburn. They kept beating Bama and got lucky for one NC ewhile still being Bama little sister.

I'm offended by the use of nazi, also offended that you would pick a troll from another fan base on Volnation. A Vol prick with ears is an up grade from any Bama or gator fan.

The first part was blue font, but the backing of an opposing fan over a brother Vol, unacceptable. The reason other fan bases hate Vol fans so much is because our football team beats their football team at football every year. These past few year has been an anomaly, but 2016 will reset the world back to the natural order of things. So lighten up, enjoy the ride to our first of many more National Championships.

The whole premiss is off. Florida will not go undefeated. To defeat Bama, which we will, but with a loss to the gators, just don't add up.

Slow down enjoy this summer it the last one before our next National Championship.

Hell no FU won't go undefeated. They're looking down the barrel of 5 losses. Tennessee, LSU, Georgia, Arkansas and FSU. And they better look out for Vandy in Nashville.

Catbone might be about paranoid about injuries and other facets of the goings on with the Vols, but I don't question his loyalty. He and I may disagree more than we agree, but I think you are way off on him.

Now, as to D4H? If I ever get hemorrhoids, I will name them after him.

I agree 100%. However I predict our fan base would not see it that way - at all. I've been around long enough to remember Fulmer taking heavy criticism for losing to UF while beating most everyone else. And Butch does not have the credit Fulmer had (as former Vol player and also in terms of overall W-L - Fulmer back in those days used to own Bama and Georgia and we still had people who wanted him gone just for losing to Florida).

I think you're going to be holding the line against one guy holding a Fire Butch placard and another trying to legalize pot. There are higher expectations and a loss to Florida would cause rumblings and calls for his job from some of the non usual suspects. As with Dooley, there would be calls for a replacement. Not riot gear for the police.

Yeah, but that was similar to what everybody had in mind for FL last year, and we know how that worked out. But I'd sure love to see FL pay for the damage they did last year - including all the embarrassment that went with undeservedly winning the east.

Fulmer lost 5 straight to the Gators to start his career as head coach.

The first in '93 with Shuler as starting QB, the last 3 with Peyton as starting QB.

Yes I remember '92 @ home in the rain, but that was as interim HC and technically still Johnny's team. There was no pressure on Phil at that point.

Butch is improving this team every year.

You're just letting your dislike of him blind you. He's overly pessimistic and often finds the worst in everything, but he is a UT fan, albeit one with a bit of a pretty bad case of battered fan syndrome.
