We tried that. If he didn't come to UGA with Kirby, he ain't going anywhere.
Ok, it sounds silly but it's true. Years ago, maybe 20 or so, the Chicago Bears were beset by an unusually high number of injuries. They hired a dance instructor or choreographer. Somehow it worked. If Butch tried such a thing, I would strongly recommend that activity be closed to the public. The trolling would never end.
Szerszen, the associate director of strength and conditioning, has been working with the football program since mid-January, and he will maintain that position. According to the News Sentinel database, last updated in July, Szerszen was making $66,000 per year.
Szerszen has been with Jones since joining his staff at Cincinnati in 2011. He was the director of Eastern Michigan from 2007-09 and worked under Lawson at Eastern Michigan from 2002-06.
Robinson said Tennessee is not currently looking to hire anyone to fill Lawson's position as director.
Dave Lawson let go as UT strength and conditioning director
To be fair, he promised he'd assemble the best staff in America, but he never set a timeline.According to Butch it had to be Dave Lawson who was hired along the rest of the best staff in America (Cincy did not even know how good they had it before Hart finally saw the light and gave them the real best job in America).
To be fair, he promised he'd assemble the best staff in America, but he never set a timeline.
So technically, he could still just be in the process![]()
Butch still has 2 years before even considering his seat getting warm.
If Butch loses to UF this year and if God forbid we at least don't win the East (those 2 concepts usually go hand in hand) he will have to be gone for his own good - or both him and Hart will have to be placed under police protection 24/7.
If Butch goes 11-1, with sole loss being to Florida who goes undefeated in conference , he should not be on the hot seat.
