GWG for April
Xbox Live Games With Gold For April 2016 |
Xbox One: Sunset Overdrive and The Wolf Among Us
Xbox 360: Dead Space and Saints Row 4
All Xbox 360 games are BC for Xbox One
Only two requirements:
Has capacity of 256 GB or more, and
Uses USB 3.0.
thanks got a Seagate, at Gamestop
Another question, thinking about getting me son a xbox one for his birthday in April
is it worth it to get the Ellte, with the better controllers, or just the regular Xbox and will his 360 games play on the one, or do I just need to trade the 360 with the games and controllers in when I get the one
TIA

Microsoft Testing Several 'Upgraded' Xbox One Prototypes - Report
Written Wednesday, April 20, 2016 By Richard Walker
With rumours rife regarding a possible 'PlayStation 4.5' AKA NEO and an 'Xbox NeXt', it seems that Microsoft may be performing tests with a number of Xbox prototypes boasting "upgraded components" that are usually used to improve the performance of a PC gaming rig, according to The Verge.
While Xbox boss Phil Spencer has previously told Game Informer that he's not interested in creating an Xbox One-and-a-half, FCC filings discovered on NeoGAF indicate that Microsoft is testing a new Xbox One wireless chip bearing a new model number. The FCC usually approves devices like the Xbox One, and reportedly have an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with Microsoft that expires on 25th June; 12 days after the platform-holder's E3 press conference.
"I'm not a big fan of Xbox One and a half. If we're going to move forward, I want to move forward in big numbers," Spencer has said. "If we're going to go forward with anything, like I said, I want it to be a really substantial change for people -? an upgrade."
Will Microsoft be revealing an upgraded Xbox One for E3 2016, despite Spencer's comments? Or could we be looking at a new slimline model? Or both? All will hopefully be revealed when Microsoft hosts its E3 keynote in LA on 13th June at 9:30am PT/12:30 ET/17:30pm GMT.
If the original system runs everything at the same fps as the Neo-version then this doesn't bother me. In fact, I think it's cool. I can add a 4k disc player and have some better graphics in games. Great. I'm in no hurry, but seems like a good deal to me.
I would have been much happier had these consoles been modularly designed so current owners could just upgrade their existing consoles. However as it stands this isn't upgrading for current owners, this is re investing. I really do hope there are some good trade in offers for existing users. At least that would be some kind of "olive branch" to show those who cared enough to invest early won't be completely left out in the cold.
