No and since Nunn is supposedly visiting we many no longer be going down that road. I guess it all depends on how were doing with 2017 posts. She would have two years to play and would bridge a gap for us needing Harris to get some experience and Nunn only one year to play.

I sure hope this statement is correct? I run Map Quest on all of our recruits since the Texas ladies decided to stay close to home.... Just looking at potential problems or possible hopes to get some of these ladies?:rock:

I saw on Twitter, from a trainer out of the state of Georgia and who is someone close to the AAU circuit that the battle will be between UGA and Tennessee for KK. He said he has no idea about Maya Dodson.

Maybe we'll learn something Monday Nunn is so huge for our team. She is a legitimate replacement for Graves gives us a great chance next season if every player gets better.

I would like to see us close out 2016 with Nunn, Stokes and maybe a scoring guard like Arella Giurantes. That would give us a solid team next season.

I would like to get commitments from KK, Westbrook, Harrison, Hayes, and Dodson. That gives us seven new players in 2017 and we need that many as no guarantee Diamond and Russell will play their senior seasons. We lose Reynolds, and Carter as well.

Next season

PG-Reynolds, Cooper, Carter, Middleton
SG-Deshields, Giurantes, Jackson
WF-Nared, Dunbar
PF-Nunn, Stokes
C-Russell, Harris

I doubt we get the four players I named but just speculating could really use a three point shooter.

We need a member of the coaching staff that knows how to get the scoring out of the players we have.

These kids know how to play. They come into a collegiate atmosphere to polish the game they have put their life into.

They need a person on that coaching staff that has new ideas, new drills and new concepts, so they can feel that they are learning something new, while polishing the old skills.One who can read them and instill the right wisdoms at the right time. Can talk them down or raise them so they feel they can walk on air.

They got that in AAU and High School,,, they expect it here. If they don't feel they are getting that they will not give you effort. You DO coach effort with women, not verbal, but by reflection..And if know anything about coaching the female gender, , , Their way of "I'll show you" is not bowing-up , its, shutting-down.

They need an Alpha among the coaching staff. When they get a real one... problem will be solved. An Alpha that knows the GA athlete.

You're not going to get this in your new-hire. Too much variety of duties. Nope, this coach has to be there 24-7.They have to be able to read each athlete.

Thats what is missing here in the LV coaching staff. That is what we lost with Pat.... You can't replace Pat, but you MUST replace her role

Are we even trying to go after Giurantes? I like the Stokes and Nunn additons at the 4 spot as I think they are more offensive minded than Graves. I think it also doesn't force Dunbar to play our of position. Only thing I think will hurt us next season is Holly's forcing a Carter/Reynolds back court down our throat instead of a Reynolds/Cooper or Reynolds/Diamond one.

Deshields; a shooting guard.??, that would be a waste of use for her skill set.

Flipflop DD with Kortney and you may have something.

Stokes?? Not without some major rebuilding in the staff. She is used to freedom and movement. She would go into shutdown too if she had to go through that stand-around offense.

Dunbar cant play shooting guard because of her defense. I guess we could play her at the two on offense and the four on defense.
The coaching staff is here to stay for at least a year or two so we need to find ways to win in spite of them.
That would be players getting better shooting the perimeter shot making defenses forced to make the adjustment and open up the inside.
We can't talk about anything Lady Vol without this coaching staff being here because that is what is going to happen in the next couple of seasons.

Not hard to believe. I think the race has been between UConn and Notre Dame which have been the two best programs the last 4 or 5 seasons.

No offense but we don't need updates on players that aren't even looking at Tennessee. if the player is no longer looking at Tennessee and no longer have them on their list then there is no need to keep posting about them. White's dad already stated that she was probably going to end up at an ACC school.
