Lady Vols Recruiting Info

Is there anymore players that we could sign, or are looking to sign for the upcoming 2016 season? In their words, anymore agents Tennessee is looking to sign from the 2016 class?

this signing period is over, right ?

it is a bit strange that the early signing period is the same month as the season kicks off,it should be August to November or something like that

or so I think for what that is worth :)

and there should be an early signing period for Foot Ball, like from July to August

The regular signing period is in April and I think it ends in May. The early signing period starts in November and ends in December. Verbals can happen at anytime and are nonbinding.

Kamera Harris a 3* 6'3" post player out of Hampton, GA signed Wednesday. Another 6'3" post player who is a Grad Student with experience battling against SEC teams and would be a major help will be on an official visit this weekend along with Harris. Hopefully we get some more good news this weekend.

Question: Why have things been so quiet with KK & Maya Dodson? I've heard numerous ppl say that they would like to attend the same school but neither has a list of schools they're interested in. I can't find anything on HoopGurlz about where these two may go. One has to think it will come down to Georgia, lady vols & maybe SC. Who knows. They may both wait until after their senior year to announce anything. Just find it puzzling that neither player has hinted much of anything as to where they will play college ball.

When does the early signing period end? Could getting rid of Elzy really hurt us if it is true that she is part of the reason a lot of players considered us?

The early signing period ends on May 18th started on April 13th so still a lot of time. I suspect about 2/3 of the top 100 will sign in this period.

No, that is the late signing period.

The early signing period is in November. The Class of 2017 can sign in November or next April.

I wonder the same exact thing, can we at least get a list of Top 5 schools that they are looking into

Someone the other day suggested starting a post with updated recruiting information. I claim no inside information, but have put together a list of the current roster (broken down by year of graduation) along with a number of recruits who have either expressed an interest in the Lady Vols, have been noted as being recruited by the Tennessee staff, or have otherwise been linked with the program as potential recruits.

If anyone has any additional information, feel free to add to it or contact me by pm and I will update this post. I will try to keep the status updated on a fairly regular basis.

I hope this is of interest to most of you.
Have listed the rankings by FullCourt (FC) and ProspectNation (PN) (the guys who used to be Hoopgurlz until ESPN pulled the plug) and BlueStar (BS)

KK. & Mya live in Georgia! and South Carolina is closer than Knoxville? just saying:cray:

That's exactly what I am afraid of, with Davis and Gray both being eligible for the draft next offseason (Both will probably leave if SC wins the title next year) and Coates being a Senior, South Carolina will be looking to reload. They can stay closer to home and play with Harris, Cuevas, A'Ja Wilson, (Possibly Azura Stevens), or they could play with Te'a, MeMe, Nared, Dunbar, Harris, and Middleton (Should Russell have a break out season and both her and Diamond decide to leave). They would be playing for a team that just won the title if they decide to sign in April instead of November.

I'm not sure if this is a statement or a question, but KK and Maya live in Alpharetta. Knoxville is 203 miles by I-75 and about 20 miles less by back roads.Columbia is 236 miles by the best route on back roads.

Knoxville is about 30 miles and approximately one hour closer. If proximity is a major factor, the Lady Vols win hands down!

Here is my roster for next season for the Lady Vols

Russell
Nunn
Harris
Deshields
Cooper
Nared
Reynolds
Stokes
Carter
Jackson
Middleton
Dunbar

That would give us a lot of post depth and point guards need to get better and we could be a very good team.

In 2017 three players leaving we could still sign five Harrison, KK, Dodson, Hayes, and Westbrook.

"...White, one of the most highly recruited girls basketball players in state history, chose Illinois over Nebraska, Purdue and Oklahoma State...."
