She also broke Griner's single game shot blocking record, so I will go out on a limb and say that she is better than her 3867th ranking would indicate.

More likely her family lacked the resources to get her to the big Nike camps and showcase tournaments that drive these rankings.

See? Even UConn fans themselves are bored with their team -- I mean, they must be, if the best thing they have do while playing in a title game is to come twist the knife a little.

Let's not sugarcoat it. We will take her because she is all we can get at this point and we are desperate. Holly really doesn't want to have a big goose egg on the recruiting score board.

Maybe we will get lucky and every other program in the country who passed on her will be proven wrong. Maybe she will be a late bloomer or was overlooked. Maybe the other 3000 or so recruits ahead of her were overrated. But you can't really paint the situation we find ourselves in as anything other than the complete disaster that it is. And frankly, the last damned thing we need is another defensive specialist.

She will have to run the program completely into the ground before we get a decent coach. I suspect we'll see a lot of this in the 2017 class. I do think we'll get some good players don't believe even she can strike out two seasons in a row with our facilities.

I expect we'll get Kamera Harris unless she decides to choose Charlotte over us. I guess she could do that. She can't score so she will fit right in with everyone else on the team gonna be a tough season next year.

If she was actually good at defense instead of just claiming to be, it might be ok. Since the current "defensive specialists" can't stop their players from driving past them to score easy layups, having a "cleaner" in the paint would be helpful. At best, she ends up being like Kiah Stokes was for UConn; at worse, she'll still be a better PF and backup C than Kortney Dunbar.

But I agree the situation Tennessee is in where they are looking at players like Kamera Harris as a "must-have" is pretty dire...

Isn't it sad that we have reached this point in our program? I never dreamed, in my wildest dreams, that I would see a day when the LV program would be "hoping" that they could sign a 3 star. The sad part, it is a MUST sign, REALLY!!!!!:cray:

If we can get Kamera Harris and Emily Schubert. They both will be good gets emily upside is a little bit more according to espn. but harris block shots rebounds and is physical like bashara but bashara was to short to consistently get puts but kamera harris is 6'3 from mulitple post so that could help / Emily sounds like she can be an impact player with size wingspan and footwork kind of like kelsey lang from texas. With mercedes that will do

Obviously you missed the poster who has watched Emily play a few times live and they said she is not even close to being a D1 player....and Harris is foul prone I see that on the film

Lord please get Holly lol... Nothing wrong with 3 stars but our staff is not equipped to coach up and develop a 3 star.... Omg enjoy the few top recruits now..... FYI if Geno gets Megan he's added a deadly deadly bullet to an already load gun... The WBB world is in trouble

She really wants to stay local (which is why Virginia is in her top 4) and she also is/always has been a "star" and will be looking to establish her own legacy (not saying she can't at UVA but doing with Stewie and Co did will be hard) With them (Virginia) getting the 6'9" Felicia Aiyeotan and also reaching out to a few transfers still availble, I wouldn't be surprise if she does what A'Ja Wilson did and stay home and rebuild the Virgina program.

My biggest concern is what are we going to do at Tennessee? That I feel is a big question mark. Somehow we need to keep our recruits at home and bring in some new blood.
