2016 Election Thread Part Deux

Assault? Probably not. It's hard to tell how rough the contact it was because there are differing angles, but if those bruises are real then I'm going to say it was more than a love tap - in which case it is battery by Florida law.

What kind of person immediately deflects to calling the accuser a liar when one of his subordinates is accused of battery or assault?

If I saw that video, I would. But I'm not a hater.

Oh I have no doubt it will be used. If I was Trump I'd run the video as simply say "sad day in America when you can get charged for this".

If I was a Trumpster it wouldn't effect my vote.

Exactly and I'm not a big fan of Trump, but the more I see of this political persecution with the establishment pulling out every trick in the book - the more likely I am to vote for the guy.

If it's Hillary v Trump, yes I'm voting Trump. I'm actually coming around to the idea that he couldn't possibly be a bigger disaster than Hillary so viva la revolucion! Let's rock the Republican establishment to their knees.

The defense has shifted from "he didn't touch her and doesn't even know who she is" to "well, it wasn't that hard". It has nothing to do with political correctness. Just honesty and integrity.

She originally said that he tried to pull her to the ground and she was so shaken up about it she cried on every TV channel. It probably deserved an "excuse me", but that's about all.

She ended up with bruises over the "excuse me" incident.

I'm not a Trump hater, but good grief, there is enough evidence to file charges here.

If that's battery, then every parent in the country might as well hand their kids over to the state right now to avoid prosecution. My kids are tougher than this reporter. I see more physical contact every Sunday when church releases.

By any chance, are you a Catholic alter boy?:)

Of course there is enough evidence to file charges, that's not a very high standard and that's another problem for another thread.

As for the bruises, from the video no way to say they came from that encounter .

To me, the incident itself helps Trump. His supporters hate media and would not mind one bit if Trump's henchmen pushed one around a little.

His having called the reporter a liar is a problem. It's another nail in the hating women coffin for him. But that's really nothing all that new.

Those bruises weren't much at all..... I think this is why trump gains support... People are tired of this PC nonsense and things being made into such a big deal over something that seems so minor and silly.

Sure...

If it was your family member that someone grabbed, they would have to smoke you off the person in question.

Nah, they can handle themselves until they can't. Didn't raise no pansies.....

We'd have to put out a go fund me for your bail if Piglet had been involved.

You may have a tough daughter, but the keyword there is "daughter" which translates to "Still Daddy's Girl Even Though She's Over 18."

Agreed. As inconsequential as the incident looks to me, I have no dog in the hunt. If that were my wife or daughter, there would be no interpretation needed as to whether assault and/or battery occurred.

The only time I know of where she got into a physical altercation with a guy was when she was 17. I was there, punk pushed her she punched him in the bladder then a knee to the face, it was over in 5 seconds. I was a proud papa.

And again, had someone grabbed her hard enough to leave bruises, Mama Hog would have to bail you out of jail regardless.

You're a Dad. Protection instincts are ingrained.

If she couldn't take care of it herself I'll admit I would open up a can of old man whipass.

I didn't raise pansies..... I honestly didn't see much there.... Looked like she was trying to push up towards trump and she got pushed away.... It was far from violent and definitely didn't warrant her first statement on the event.... If I smoked people for that little bit that happened.... I would be fighting constantly with the kids I have.

I read a report today that the Secret Service agent had already warned her about getting in between Trump and the agent, and they had told her not to get that close. She did it again, and the aide grabbed her arm, and pulled her away.

1) Lewandowski isn't a member of law enforcement and shouldn't have put his hands on her.

2) He only made the issue worse when he refused to apologize first told everyone he had never seen her in his life and then said if she thinks it's such a big issue she should file a police report. She filed the report and the police believed they had enough evidence to press charges. End of story.

And if you think "ArmGate" isn't bad. Wait until the media finds out that two of Trump's current advisers are 2 Chekist who were just on Russia and Vladimir Putin's payroll.

Is that worse than Hillary being on China's, Saudi Arabia's and god knows who else payroll?

He was keeping someone away from his boss. She is the one who should apologize.
