The Despicable Canadian hads been on the news shows this morning calling for Kasich to drop out because he cannot reach 1237 delegates. Newflash Canadian, you can't either. Drop out and shut up.

That's one of the reasons I didn't want Rubio to drop out. Just to be annoying to Ted.

Trump has a reach, that's for certain. But I could see him cinching it up in early June before the convention. There are a lot of NE States coming along he should do well in and NY which should go his way. But Cali should seal the deal for him.

Impossible. Cali is primarily Latino. No way he carries their vote.

He's currently in 3rd place. I don't see any feasible way he's going to get enough delegates.

Anybody know what the beans are?

I don't know if it's true, but I had read she had depression or some sort of mental breakdown. Of course, The Donald wouldn't care if it's true, he loves to spread gossip.

This is the worst bunch of candidates ever.

Mmmmm. Seems you are the one spreading gossip?

I never knew this about her. Thanks.

I don't think I can listen to him speak for four years. He sounds like a cross between a revivalist and a preschool teacher.

When he's mathematically eliminated for good in a few weeks, guarantee you he won't drop out. He'll still be blabbering about how everyone is "uniting behind our campaign" ten times in the same interview.

Interesting article. It claims that Trump stands to gain the most from Kasich dropping out and that Cruz will fare better if JK stays in the race.

Republican donors to Rubio: Don’t throw your support behind Cruz – Rare

It's a foregone conclusion that Cruz will never get the delegates necessary in order to make a challenge. And even with a contested/brokered convention, still likely won't get the nomination.

At this point, I'd say the power brokers and donors should be focusing on trying to get someone they find acceptable on the ticket with Trump.

Not sure why you would think I would renege on such a thing.

And I'd make sure it was something socially acceptable for Ob if he lost.

'Calibration issue' pops up on Maryland voting machines - Watchdog.org

Voting machines that switch Republican votes to Democrats are being reported in Maryland.

“When I first selected my candidate on the electronic machine, it would not put the ‘x’ on the candidate I chose — a Republican — but it would put the ‘x’ on the Democrat candidate above it,” Donna Hamilton said.

“This happened multiple times with multiple selections. Every time my choice flipped from Republican to Democrat. Sometimes it required four or five tries to get the ‘x’ to stay on my real selection,” the Frederick, Md., resident said last week.

However, expected in Chicago...

Cook County ballot box tries to cast GOP votes for Democrats - Watchdog.org

Early Voting in Illinois got off to its typical start Monday, as votes being cast for Republican candidates were transformed into votes for Democrats.

Republican state representative candidate Jim Moynihan went to vote Monday at the Schaumburg Public Library.

“I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” Moynihan said. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”

Color me shocked.

Will this not create jobs?

Not nearly as many as people think. US manufacturing productivity is still increasing substantially every year, although Trump would have you think otherwise - it's just that many of the jobs that were once taken for granted are now obsolete in a modern economy.

As far as the tariffs and the impact on American consumers, it's probably not worth it to the average American. That's the thing with free trade. There is a subset of the population that these policies directly hurt due to job loss, but for the most part it keeps prices down, which benefits everyone.

Agree

Those buying into all the talk of Trumps bringing back manufacturing equates to mass jobs and employment when fewer (organic) jobs, more automation and higher consumer goods is the reality, sad really
