Bernie and a 3rd party run?

Let's say one third of them do. Add that to an enormous margin for Clinton amongst Hispanic voters, black voters, and even a small advantage with women, and it's a landslide for her.

You (like many in the media) are vastly over estimating your queen.

I don't think Hillary is going to attract the number of black or Hispanic voters any more than in normal election cycles. Certainly not to the grassroots levels Obama did.

And I'd say enough women see right through her shtick as pandering that the numbers won't be any higher, again, than normal.

Bernie's main goal in entering the race was to drag the Democratic Party and Clinton further left. He has done that. I would be shocked if he's willing to risk putting a Republican in office by running third party.

Well I hope he does -- I dont want a woman as POTUS

I think this is a very astute observation Grand.

I thought Bernie already said he will go along with whoever gets the D nomination if it's not him.

Hispanic, for sure.

And if he has Princess Palin out there screeching about thugs, she'll get a higher turnout amongst all minority groups.

She is toxic.

You're missing what I'm saying. I'm saying the groundswell of support that Obama saw in 2008 will be missing from this election.

And why in the blue **** do you even bring Palin into this? Other than your normal reasoning to divert the post away from directly answering the fact your girl Hillary is not going to get the support?

No. Just no

No. Just no, which part?

Bernie has the youth in a stir, and they will likely support candidates in the future that are more like him than HRC or DT.

DT is left then right. The guy has flip flopped just about as much as HRC.

Sanders has been here and there with guns, but he's pretty much laid out this...

"Folks who do not like guns [are] fine. But we have millions of people who are gun owners in this country — 99.9 percent of those people obey the law. I want to see real, serious debate and action on guns, but it is not going to take place if we simply have extreme positions on both sides. I think I can bring us to the middle.”

"Gun control legislation should ultimately fall on individual states, with the exception of instant background checks to prevent firearms from finding their way into the hands of criminals and the mentally ill, and a federal ban on assault weapons."

Hell, Sanders voted against the Brady Bill, which Reagan promoted.

but the fires that burn in the immediate aftermath of a collapse will not be pretty.

Again, it is inevitable. Even if you are lucky enough to run out the clock to just save your own neck/retirement, you would have just ruined a generation or possibly 2 with this slow burn and grinding of the economy.

I'm no Mitt Romney fan, but he essentially pointed out the fact in his campaign that we have 47% who are getting a govt check. I would bet that since then, that number is just north of 50%... so they already outnumber us. Its too late. They have the votes and momentum.

Give these Veruca Salts what they want.

Margaret Thatcher said the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

This chaos and misery will end once we either run out of money or when Atlas shrugs.

You're assuming what comes out of that, after ruined lives and who knows how many dead, will be better than what's currently in place.
