Sorry man, I must have missed the post. The league admin found someone, so it likely would have been too late anyhow. Thanks for the interest!

It's all cool. I have been wanting to do a keeper league for a long time. Most do not look set up correctly. Thought this would be a good chance to get my feet wet.

I love how the team has gone from "high expectations" last year to "national championship" expectations this year.

I'm not trying to be contrarion, but I know players on the team and a lot of them really love Lawson. Not sure where this idea came from

Lawson has a lot of responsibility as the head of the S&C. It covers every sport, not just football. However, when CBJ came on board, the S&C situation with the football team was terrible and required "all hands on deck." Now things have improved, and Lawson can get back to running and managing his program. Also he now has confidence in the football S&C team to hand over more and more of the day to day responsibilities. If there was a problem with Lawson, he would have been shown the door. This is just my take on the situation.

When a group of men Put their own individual goal aside and all are focused on the same prize great things will happen.

VT not being very good doesn't help, but it looks like the slate of games for Sept. 10 is weak. Good weekend to have it. I think they will come just for the spectacle of it.

That's ok let's do them the way CFB did is for the past few years. Build us up and put us on stage then dump **** on us in front of the world. It's redemption time and it's too bad for whoever is on the other side of the ball.

Preston had his stripe removed today.

Anybody recall when Austin Smith got his stripe removed? Saw he didn't have one yesterday in one of the practice videos.

This pic is from Nov. 17, so it wasn't before then. TIA. :hi:

The bottom link is highlights from Tuesday's practice of A.Smith with no stripe.

Titans obtained Murray by merely swaping 4th round picks with Eagles

Steal. From looking at the contract, the Eagles keep the signing bonus, and the Titans just take on the yearly contract. $6 million this year plus incentives. I think that's worth it.

Add in the signing of Ben Jones, and the run game is looking up. Sign Tunsil and, on paper, that's solid.

Not a Titans fan, but living in the area and listening to sports talk radio, you can't help but follow.

Looking at the moves that have been made already, it looks to me like they are going to draft Tunsil. I really didn't think that was going to be the case early on, but with the free agency moves they have been making it does look more and more like that's the case.

Good moves on their part, at least offensively. Upgrade the OL, put Mariota under center, Murray 7 yds back in the I. Sound run first offense.

It will be interesting to see what they do with the D.

They will do what most women would do and get it straightened out

Think its worth it? The eagles got worked. Gained 13 spots in the 4th. Titans don't pick up guaranteed money and can unload at no cost to them if he doesn't produce. Get an all pro caliber back if he does

That's a nasty deal

Is anybody going to the basketball game tonight in Nashville?

Looking at tickets on stubhub/vivid seats it says general admission for As low as $4.

On the surface, it's a steal. I just wonder how productive he will be is why I am cautious. Did the Cowboys use him for all he's worth? Who knows. RB's in the NFL have such a short shelf life that $12.5 million guaranteed to a 28 year old back could be bad money if he's really slowing down.

Personally, I think he's due for a bounce back season and it will be a very good move.
