Too true. I just came from over there.
Say something about the Cubs or eyepatches?
No, he was going off about the Tennessee state legislature cutting off funding to the Office of Diversity at UT (the one behind "xyr" and "make sure your holiday party isn't secretly a Christmas party in disguise") as being moronic given the state of things at the university. I disagreed. He disagreed. We both grew a little.
Actually, he's totally wrong, so I didn't grow at all, but whatever.
GoVols247@GoVols247:
Through seven games this season, the #Vols baseball team has scored more than 1/3 of the runs it scored all of last season.
-RockyTopInsider.Vol fans have asked for Butch Jones to open up in the past, and it looks like they might be getting their wish.
Tennessee head coach Butch Jones is the latest of college football coaches to throw jabs at Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh for him taking his team down to IMG Academy in Florida to practice on the campus during his teams spring break.
It all started when Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema tweeted this on Wednesday afternoon:
Bret Bielema@BretBielema:
After early meetings & lift tomorrow with our players. Thinking about heading to watch an open practice tomorrow at IMG with the staff. #WPS
Not even an hour later, and Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio quoted Bielemas tweet with another slight troll towards Harbaugh:
Mark Dantonio@DantonioMark:
Want to do lunch? #V4MSU
Then Butch Jones got in on the action and threw a little jab of his own:
Butch Jones@UTCoachJones:
Mind if I join you guys for lunch? @DantonioMark @BretBielema
Vol fans have wanted Jones to open up and show some more of his personality for years, and this was a welcome change from his usual coach speak and prepared sayings. Its not a huge troll or an outright call-out like something Lane Kiffin did while at UT, but its certainly more brash than Jones is known for being usually.
Whether the three coaches actually go down to Florida and watch Michigan practice is unknown. Chances are they wont. But its nice to see some coaches have a little fun online.

imo the titans pick does have value. If the cowboys or miners fall in love w goff or cw that pick ahead of cleveland becomes very valuable
i could see the titans trading firsts and pickmg up maybe a 3rd as well. Lets say ots the cow is 5th pick they then get. You know qb would have then gone 1-2 so you are still getting a very high non-qb pick
Too bad the other guy didn't realize he was fighting him. Cheap shot artist piss me off.
Meh... You have to go over there on occasion and spread some wisdom, otherwise they will just continue their downward spiral.
I spent some time over there earlier. I look at it as volunteer work.

It is kind of bad timing to do this. At least wait until the lawsuit stuff cools down. The media is already portraying us (wrongfully) as creating a hostile environment for women and now they'll be able to portray us (wrongfully) as creating a hostile environment for minorities.
I think it's a joke department, but these days state Universities have got to have a diversity department at least for show. They may send out a bunch of fruity little memos that everybody roles their eyes at, but it's not like they have any power over anything.
