Your right. But I just can't help it. I've had enough of this lady's crap.I am almost 49 years old and have never come close to hitting a woman. She really makes me think long and hard about that.

Love my niece but she's flocking to this sanctimonious mindset. She'll be attending nursing school in August. Maddened that she has to share the campus with the football team.

As of today we have Kmac, Obrien, and who else at DT?

As mentioned, Vickers and Piccou, as well as Phillips and a couple other guys that could move inside on passing downs. Not ideal depth but almost there, and still better off than we've been at that spot for a decade or so. A well-rested Tuttle getting into the mix for the last half of the season could be a good thing too. There are 4 or 5 positions for which depth is a bigger concern right now than DT. We are thinner at TE, MLB, and maybe Tackle right now IMO. We have less proven depth at safety as well.

The same football team that is responsible for making the university enough money to provide $6 million in non athletic scholarships?

The very same! When the Tennesseean ran a story about the costs of football programs around the country, she posted on FB that she didn't think her tuition should go towards fielding a team. Uncle butchna had to gently inform her that Hart had to get money BACK from academics when they had a shortfall...and that had been a money drain for awhile. Numbers hurt liberals head sometimes.

So firing the director of judicial affairs who slept with a half-dozen athletes that she was supposed to be disciplining contributed to rape culture?

She's a woman, so yes. Yes it did. Women are above reproach according to the current PC/feminist culture (unless they are wronged by someone from a class higher than them on the oppression pyramid).

With how quickly they added Alexis Johnson accuser to the lawsuit wouldn't that be another sign as to their real intentions with this lawsuit? They didn't even have time to understand that whole situation and she immediately dropped charges with it question not even giving time for admin to mess anything up. It's settle or withdraw IMO for plaintiffs. No way they get on stand to be cross examined

It's not her fault. Most new nurses coming out of college think they know everything. It takes about an hour into their first shift before they realize they don't anything and question choices made in their lives.

Glad we haven't settled. Some things are bigger than football. Proud of them for fighting.

Though it would be fun for UT lawyers to work them over like mad if it comes to court.

I just want a 2017 commit, i'm getting stinky.

If Tuttle does miss a big chunk of the season, I think we can pretty much count on seeing a DE like Phillips, Mixon, or maybe even Lewis see a good bit of work on the inside. If Austin Smith and/or Bituli turn out to be DEs, that this even more likely, IMO.

Even "physical assault" doesn't nessecarily involve contact. Since no one seems to be aware of that, here's the definition:

"An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm."

So even if Maggit just got in his face or threatened him that is enough to constitute assault in the eyes of the law. The journalists writing these stories are aware of that. They're also aware that much of their readership is not.

I am a criminal defense attorney, and the state would have a difficult time prosecuting a case where someone says, "I am going to beat you up." Harassment might be an option but not assault. Aside from actual physical harm, the instance in which a person could be charged with words is when they say they are going to shoot a person or stab a person, and the weapon is readily available. The journalists live in a fantasy world. Let's try the real world.

The Shy Tuttle "Which Leg?" debate made me think of this from FMJ.

Which side was that Pyle? Are you sure?
