LaRon Landry went 6th last year I believe. For a guy with his abilities, I don't think top 10 is out of the question.

Top ten isn't out of the question but again safties rarely go in the top ten and not in the top five. Berry has a chance to be great, we'll see how he develops.

Who cares what some person you will never meet thinks about your avatar or your favorite team or your loyalty to any team. Like whoever you want and cheer for whoever you want. Half these so called UT-BB fans didn't even know the Vols had a team until a few years ago anyway. Now that they are good everyone wants to talk BB all of a sudden.

It's rare for a safety to go in the top 5, but it's happened before...it'll happen again.

You are right two in the past 20 years.

Well, that's different from NEVER in the top five. With the safety position becoming more important in the NFL, I'd say that Berry has a chance to be drafted very high. Let's put it this way: If they were drafting from this year's freshman class in CFB, don't you think he would be one of the top 5 taken?

Do you see him playing any other position besides safety in the nfl. Not sure about his speed. Does anyone think he could play corner?

Sorry, I meant Berry giving him a couple of years to mature.

It wouldn't suprise me at all to see Berry starting at CB for Tennessee again before he leaves here.

He came here to be a CB.

EDIT: He's already started two games at CB

Any draft analyst will tell you it a huge reach to pick a safety in the top 5, much less top ten. Teams are not going to give a safety, aside from Sean Taylor, the kind of money top 5 guys get.

They don't draft freshman so that is a silly question. Berry can be special but a lot can happen in the next two seasons.
