There were plenty of extreme devotees, but also quite a few that were there for the hell of it. It's fun to watch the guy just BS up there, and he makes a hell of an entrance.

Christie was going through the motions. Other than the possibility of an AG appointment under Trump, I'm pretty sure he's doing it just to screw with Rubio.

I seriously doubt he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart. He's gunning for the AG or maybe even the DHS Secretary.

"Donald's a great guy and a good person. But I just don't think that he's suited to be president of the United States," he told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren as they walked along the Jersey Shore.

He added: "I don't think his temperament is suited for that and I don't think his experience is."

Honestly, that's some scary crap that goes on at his campaigns.

I'm as patriotic as they come as I've loved this country all my life and served it for half, but I'm also smart enough to know ultra-nationalism doesn't lead to good things.

I'll be honest, if trump or Cruz are elected I'll probably experience a great deal of anxiety and depression. Contrasted with the shame and guilt I'll feel if Clinton gets the election.

I just really wish this thing had been Kasich v O'Malley. I'd be relatively OK with either candidate and everything I knew about normal elections would've had me believe that would be the ideal situation for what we've been dealt. But living through the last 15+ years or more I never had much hope it would play out like that.

Never have been mucha one for wild hyperbole or throwing my hands up and raving about the horror but its getting sketchy and I'm really just very dissapointed and anxious.

In the general? Or primary? If you mean primaries, I don't think you could consider it stealing when he's a north easterner himself and his two closest competitors are representatives from down south.

Reread the context and it looks like you mean the general. I wouldn't be surprised if he took a couple/three NE states. Contrary to perception there still are a lot of influential North Eastern conservatives left and I think they'd reluctantly back Trump if he's all they got.

Its possible they go behind his back and make a push for Clinton hoping she serves one term and we can get a redo with a new set of more convential GOP primary candidates.

I agree with this. He actually has more of a feel like a north eastern democrat than a republican in that they always struggle with the southern vote.
