My info came From someone that is at practice everyday the kid is soft and doesn't have the toughest for the sport.

There have post here suggesting the same from others.

He didn't look soft when he was punking defenders or snatching a ball out of traffic...he never at any point looked soft to me. Injured, but not soft.

He has it in his head that North had a bad attitude and stopped trying because he takes everything he reads on a message board as truth.

Zero part of my opinion comes from a message board. I have been saying this since the kids freshmen year

Playing thru bumps and bruises is something those close to the situation have criticized him greatly for

He's the same kind of soft Hurd is, the kind that bulldozes people and carries around multiple tacklers. Some people get something stupid in their head and refuse to get it out. Don't bother trying to convince those people.

That's what I'm wondering. Marquez has looked like a lot if things to me, but him being soft never even crossed my mind when I watched him play.

Violent crime rates for all universities. Yeah the culture at Tennessee is so bad that it ranks 9th on this list for SEC schools behind Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas, and Missouri.

Penn St had 119 forcible sex crimes. Next closest school had 89.

Tennessee had 19. Florida had 40.

Let's not do something silly like bring facts into this. The media has created a narrative and it's sticking by it, and that's that.

We designed plays for lesser WRs with him as the damn decoy. Butch and crew has no excuse for that garbage gameplanning. Should've been easily our 1-3 best players on offense. Not blocking for Jennings(a freshman) on WR screens. And him not playing, I can't blame him. I wouldn't want to block for a younger dude who I was better than either.

So your assessment is that the staff thought it was in the best interest of success to take the best player out of the play as a decoy?

That could be one of the more ridiculous things I've read on these pages. It's more likely that injury and lack of prep time due to those injuries kept him out of game planning

So, is the concensus that it is all the coach's fault and poor Marquez was a hard working, good attitude, freak athlete that was black balled?
