Some will not like this, but Hurd does want more touches and has voiced some concerns about it. TIFWIW

I personally was talking about North. I know he was not putting it on the line this year after getting beat up. Stay on topic. Two different situations.

He didn't get the ball in the first two games. What do you expect him to do? We were feeding freshmen though.

And on Hurd, what would he do? Transfer the year before his draft year and he was already a starter. Nah you go and win the big games with whatever it takes.

His primary injuries came from being hit from behind trying catch overthrow passes from Worley and Dobbs. He is VFL and was under utilized. I do not blame him for going pro and IMO he will have a very good career.

Yeah, I was wrong. North gets drafted, hopefully to a team with a good qb. It makes me a little more nervous about staff as they no production out him.

Hurd more touches? He averaged 23 a game last year with another NFL player backing him up.

23/game isn't low for a premier back, at all.

I don't think he was still at 100 percent at that point and he was going to make sure he got there and who could blame him. Tons of money out there for him. I think part of what he was doing and the coaches knew as well that he was not healthy last year. He is healthy now. If his attitude was and that is IF because you said it and not him, that he wasn't going to perform because he was being asked to block and not getting it thrown to him, that is the attitude that will not win championships. Did he have that attitude? You and I do not know. What we have are opinions. My opinion is he was not 100% and he decided to just float thru this year to prepare for his future by getting healthy and showing what he could do at the combine to get drafted.

Maybe North will tear it up his first year and Butch will finally have to get rid of Z. Other schools are going to murder us in WR recruiting if North has a good first year in the pros.

No reason he shouldn't. I've made the comparison before, but he is Da'rick Rogers without the ****ty attitude. He's a freak athelte with a great work ethic. If he gets a legitimate chance, he will shine IMO.
