@knoxnews: UT students to rally outside Dave Hart's news conference today to show support for sexual assault victims. https://t.co/Y8LlHG9A5a @mjslaby
You harp all over it and make it one of the cruxes of your know-it-all rants...that's what the f*** I'm talking about! :yu:
For you people in the legal field, what is the timeline of this? Where would it be tried? Who determines when there will be a trial? How long are the plaintiffs able to amend the suit they've filed? Etc., etc., etc...
I haven't said one word negatively about 56. I love the kid
My talk about his assault is what it means for cbj if he didn't handle it correctly
Lockerroom fights don't bother me one bit it's the left wing politically correct tree hugging bs that it matters to
Once UT answers the complaint, the court will set a scheduling conference where the parties will essentially out the case on a schedule. This will include deadlines to file preliminary motions, deadlines for discovery (i.e. Depositions), and deadlines for motions to dismiss. Then, it will set a trial date. These deadlines all depend on the complexity of the case. Also, these deadlines are subject to be changed by the court based on the parties' progress. It is not unusual for cases like this to take a couple of years or more.

Thanks! Does UT have a date by which they must answer the complaint? Selfishly, I'm just looking forward to the time when UT and/or their counsel can respond to some of this nonsense.
Statement to police is the same thing IMO
Here are those "protestors" that pushed some over the edge.
