And if team members refuse to talk? If there is not record of an assault then there won't be punishment. If the punishment is for confronting him then there will be no paper work. Its not easy on the plaintiffs end at all.

Hopefully nobody talks if it did happen but I find it hard to believe if there were that many witnesses they all plead the 5th. If a coach witnessed it that makes it worse

They had the highest rated midday show not long ago. Almost always rate second behind the ticket,

They're third...not far behind ESPN's 103.3...which also practically has zero market share. By "not long ago" do you mean eight years?

Here's one thing that needs to be remembered, this team and the members before will not be on Draes side. Being under oath does not act as a truth serum even if the latest account is correct. It also goes the other way, Bowles didn't take any concoction to be forced to tell the truth in his recent affidavit. It could all be fluff. The only way Drae can prove this entire allegation is with video, audio or photographic evidence.

That's not true.

He thought she was raped and tried to help. He got beat up for this. That looks bad no matter if the rape occurred or not

Except that he testified under oath to a grand jury that he was not assaulted punched hit or anything… What looks bad is his story changing.

And he will he wrecked for that too. The kid will not be able to get a job in the southeast. I believe Corey Miller about that part

If the lawsuit and the stuff being leaked is proven to be bogus, are there any kind of repercussions for the lawyer? Or is he protected from any kind of countersuit? Tort lawyers frustrate me so badly.

No I don't think anything could be done. Maybe Peyton could for knowingly using false information in a defamation suit or something but he would have a hard time proving it

I don't think Manning has a dog in the title ix suit. I do think he has the potential for an open/shut case against Jamie Naughwright and Shaun Queen. May also be able to include ESPN and some of it's employees.

If this turns out to be untrue, I think there should be a countersuit allowed for defamation.

What annoys me is that all of the media seems to be taking the word of 3 people with everchanging stories (King, crazy lady and Bowles). I'm not saying that the other women aren't telling the truth but come on.

Well there have been zero convictions and with all but two having no charges. I mean, not even a SINGLE conviction at this point. That alone makes it weak for me. They haven't even been able to PROVE that an assault even occured to the police, which has more resources than any university. If AJ and Williams are found guilty, I think it changes things. If not guilty, it severely damages their claims. IMO

I despise false litigation. I am coming around on if someone files falsely, they should be prosecuted. Crap cases overwhelm the court systems and there are a lot of people who try to live off of it.
