Eh forget that. No one likes Tennessee except Tennessee fans anyways. Fight this fraud til the bitter end and break this string money-grabbing bs. Show the nation we won't lay down in the face of unwarranted pressure. I could care less what other fans/media think of us.

Butch will get fired if this happens imo. Outside media pressure will escalate to ridiculous height. Hart will get fired too

But given how careful coaches have to be with the NCAA, it seems insane that Butch would say something that could put his job in jeopardy if there was ANY chance it could be recorded. So him saying it in the first place seems dubious.

Working with incomplete information. What if the fight was because his teammates knew he had a thing for this girl and they thought he did what he did because a girl he liked was intoxicated and slept with his teammate and Drae was upset about it. If his teammates did not believe a rape occurred they would be understandably upset with Drae. Obviously, if they knew a rape occurred and still got mad at Drae for turning on his teammates then that is absolutely unacceptable.

I haven't read the sworn statement but it's possible that statement was only regarding the second incident where there was no physical assault


If he stated that about both confrontations then I agree his word isn't good

So you are saying he swore that there was no assault the first time around, and this second one dated yesterday his just him saying Jones called him a traitor?

I don't follow

I am saying the first grand jury statement may have only been about the 2nd confrontation. He may have left out the details of the first 1 out of embarrassment, cover up, the questions asked to him during the statement

Without reading the statement it's hard to know

Unless Hart has an announcement to make, his presser tomorrow is a mistake. It will give the media fresh headlines that they'll spin to support their narrative. UT's just not going to get positive press right now. And we're certainly not going to fire one of the few people who can help lead us through this.

Anything that paints someone in a negative light in connection to women/sexual assault/rape is pretty much a fireable offense now, even if they immediately apologize afterward.

What 2 confrontations are you talking about?

He swore that he was not assaulted back then according to all I have read and what VQ has said. Now he has singed something that says he was hit by maggitt along with the Jones stuff.
