There is an article on ESPN written in the early morning hours that basically made fun of some of the quotes from the coaches. It was pretty classless, IMO.

Yeah, I'm not clicking on that crap but that's the kind of thing that I knew this presser would bring.

I'll temper my expectations but I wouldn't say they're "low". A learning curve is always going to be a necessity for a JUCO player but it's usually strength, conditioning and the speed of the game that are the biggest hurdles. I don't think the first two will be issues.

Defensive end is not hard. Should make a impact in late September IMO. He's Relentless and plays like a wild banshee... He be aight with that tenacity.

Kinda like my baseball coach use to say: "swing hard in case you hit it, son". Same philosophy: "run hard in case you meet the ball carrier"

Jamele Hill claimed butch is guilty because he lets the players with these charges play in order to keep his paycheck. These reporters should do some homework before they open their mouths.

If I recall correctly, there has been maybe one out of a dozen or so with a similar allegation allowed to practice or play. Butch should be praised for the way he handles these, not ridiculed. He lets them come back if charges are dropped, but that's how it should work.

Who is Jamele Hill?

Just checked... A female go figure. Not intended to be sexist but let's be honest Butch doesn't deserve that.

Pretty funny stuff. I lost it @ Kansas. I will accept Charmeleon for Tennessee.

That's just an outright lie. To my knowledge, since he has been here, every single player has been immediately suspended as soon as they are named.

Bingo...every single one. Even Coleman Thomas was suspended for something not assault related. Once again, there's a policy in place for all athletes of the university...if you are accused of something that takes legal action and involves the law enforcement, you are immediately suspended. There's no better way that these things can be handled fairly to all parties involved, besides this way. That's why these allegations, in which almost all of them are involving Butch's tenure, will be laughed out of court, if they make it that far.

I thought so too. Wasn't there one really unimportant player at the beginning of butch's tenure who played one game tho. Maybe orta?

But go check out that video on ESPN. She's wearing a nas shirt, unfortunately, in the thumbnail.

Disgraceful. Her assertion is demonstrably false.

Agreed.

Hence Volatil's comment about potential commitments from earlier, "multiple."

I think 2 of the 4 are really close from what I've been told. Hopefully they go ahead and pull the trigger.

The other 2 I think will be an ongoing battle until next Feb.

All that there is in media these days is loud mouths with reactions. They don't bother to even read up on facts. They just are lazy and read the stories sent to them.

Elaborate?

Just about this whole lawsuit being an orchestrated effort to throw as much crap together in order to embarrass UT to the point where they want to reach a settlement.

He is also going off on Debby Jennings and the disgruntled former employees who hate Dave Hart. Said that they have an out of control sense of entitlement created by decades of being overpaid.

That's a name I'm familiar with. She has been a hack for a long, long time.

If you had to name the worst writer or TV personality on ESPN, Jemele Hill would be one of the first to spring to mind. Controversy is her entire shtick - she offers no insight into any sport she talks about.
