I agree. And I've honestly never seen the country, much less political parties, this divided in my lifetime. And that division has caused serious anger on all fronts. And you are correct that is shows in the candidates being put forward and the dirty nonsense going on. I mean, who would have ever expected:
A businessman
An avowed socialist
Two first term Senators
And a media Mogul (considering)
All running for President?
It's crazy. Obviously what we have in place now is not working. Maybe the best thing for the country is having the whole thing come down, as Golf mentions. I'm looking for the silver lining in all this lunacy.

Obama has exacerbated the problem of the divide in the country, like it or not. His way, or you're an idiot. It's crazy. Obviously what we have in place now is not working. After doing some research, I think I'm going to vote for Rubio. Even though I'm concerned about him in regards to immigration, I think he's the best guy for the job (hopefully, Kasich is his VP choice). Having said that, if Cruz or Trump wins the nomination, I'll still vote for them. Hillary needs to be defeated at all costs. I won't vote third party or stay home if either of those 2 win the nomination, as that would help Hillary.
Trump wins again..I admit I didn't think he would get this far..there was a poll early on that said that 30% of GOP voters would never vote for him..hope I'm wrong but I don't think he can beat Hillary, who will have single women excited to vote to elect the first woman president
I hope you're wrong too. Anyone who votes for Hillary votes for a continuation down the path to socialism/marxism. I don't want us to be like Europe.
What's scary is that some of the millennials and younger are openly embracing what they think socialism will give them..notably someone paying off their student debts and punishment for the 1 percenters
