Prior to 2008, that was not true. The majority of his donations were to democrats because he was an extreme liberal. Something even trump doesn't deny.

Even the most conservative of lawmakers who support Rubio are called "Part of the Establishment" or "RINO". Those words have no meaning anymore thanks to Trump supporters.
