Not suprising but those plaintiffs are adding Crowder and Johnson to the lawsuit case against TN. I understand Johnson but crowder? I mean seriously your going to now claim we train pedophiles? He isn't even part of team anymore

Plaintiffs will throw all that they can into their complaint, and let the evidentiary process weed out the irrelevant/inadmissible parts.

Even happened after his time at TN was over. IMO, it actually weakens their case...shows they are just trying to pull any and everything into it. TN could actually use the Crowder situation and say that he had no known history of this type of thing while in the hands of the coaching staff and university, so they were obviously doing something right.

She claims when Fulmer was presented this information about Manning he didn't even read it. She said he just wrote 11-1 at the top of the page.

They will throw anything and everything into this suit. Their goal is to get UT to settle. Basically, they sling crap and hope that UT hates the perception that is being spotlighted enough to just pay to make it go away.

Spears defending the program currently. Says it should be placed on the individual not the program. Which any sane human being should be able to comprehend.

When stuff gets linked here regarding this title 9 suit that paints UT in a negative light I try to just skip it.

Clicking on the link gives them what they want. I think the attention from UT fans is helping to drive this hoopla.

I finally listened to the whole press conference. For me, the message from all the coaches was clear: Enough is enough. We have stood by while our school, coaches, and athletes have been trashed and misrepresented. To a one, they were willing to stand up in public and defend their players and program. I agree. It is time for all of us to stand behind our school. For sure, there are things that need to be improved, but UT is still a great institution. It is one that we call all be proud of.

According to Clay Travis' Twitter, Naughright is also claiming on Facebook that Fulmer and Chavis were bisexual. The progression of this story has been crazy.

I tried to give her story the benefit of the doubt last week. The more that comes out from this loon the more foolish I feel.

They don't need proof. I hope someone signs Manziel...they'll scurry to that story. :gone:

Seriously, that's such a conclusory headline, as if the mere act of the filing of the lawsuit is proof positive of its allegations. Has UT even filed its Answer yet?

Maybe if it read "Has Tennessee Taken Sexual Assaults Seriously Enough?" it would be a bit more responsible. As it is, its blatant sensationalism.

Clay Travis interviewed a former THP officer that provided security during that time.

He states that she contacted him in the past year on FB. Said her posts were psychotic. Fulmer and Chavis bisexual. All Lady Vols are lesbians. She direct messaged him because he had a stroke. She made weird comments about his sexual dysfunction after his stroke.

Said she used the most vulgar language of any woman he had ever been around.

Yes. It's such basic morality you would think people could comprehend it. If someone does something wrong or illegal, it's on them, not the fault of the institution's 'culture' that they're a part of. They're just trolling for dollars.

BTW, the way the liberals want this to play out is for all the universities to set up kangaroo courts where they 'convict' men of crimes where there is insufficient evidence to convict them in an actual court. That way they can still ruin their lives by getting them kicked out of school while avoiding any pesky due process.

Has no one paid any attention to how each and every assault case has been handled in the last 3+ years that Butch has been the HC? Not only Butch, but it is an UNIVERSITY policy that the player is immediately suspended from his/her sport that they participate in, as soon as they are accused of the crime and it goes under investigation. How is it the university, AD, coach, or anyone else's fault, except the individual that makes the stupid mistake, when that type of policy is in place and has clearly been followed???

Exactly what I have been saying this whole time. bUTch suspended the starting middle LB, and team leader within 48 hours of the incident. How is that not taking it serious and acting quickly? Oh I know, facts don't get clicks.

Also, if there was a settlement with the Peyton and "notright" case, how can she be talking about it openly and providing information to irresponsible reporters (whatever King is considered)?

Honestly, have I missed something? Is there anything that evidences negligence towards alleged assault victims besides the allegations in the lawsuit? If not, I can't express how irresponsible it is to act as if the case is already proven.

^I hear ya.

I mean we throw out the word crazy pretty loosely these days to describe anyone we don't like, disagree with or is just a little weird but this girl is certifiable. Her laughs were random - like a third person was in on the conversation and doing a standup act that only she heard.

Borderline personality disorder!

I really like him. Best thing to happen to Finebaum show.

I do too and it's not because of this or the fact that he's been nice to us last season and this upcoming one (so has Greg McElroy and even Finebaum gave us some love last year and although I despised him for a while I've come around to thinking he overcompensates his UT grad status by being overly skeptical to us - that and his bread and butter has always been riling up Bammers and Barners and he is an equal opportunity troll).

But Spears is insightful and always respectful. Even when I disagree with him I like hearing his thoughts because he never gives off the "I'm right and you're an idiot if you don't agree" vibe. He's really a breath of fresh air on TV period.
