tonight in regards to parking or camping, since I'd already placed a deposit and paid balance tonight.. total amount $47.78.. Said we'd be parking some where near the drag strip, that parking closer to the speedway was for BMS season ticket holders. She also said parking pass would be UPS'd in July.

Yipppeeeeeeeeee one step closer!!!!!

GO VOLS!!!

Congrats! Nicely done.

How would one go about obtaining a parking and/or camping pass if they haven't placed a deposit?

I seem to have missed the train BIG TIME on getting tickets, passes, everything. I was hoping that it would have been easier, but I'm not a season ticket holder, or a Bristol ticket holder.

Try giving BMS a call and ask about parking for the game, as I'm not quite sure how that will work. She did ask me if my deposit was for parking or camping. I hope you find out what you need to now...

If you are parking or camping anywhere on speedway grounds they have a ton of shuttles that pick you up and drive you all the way to the stadium.

I'm from the Bristol area. I would suggest to come up 421 to get to BMS. Traffic is about half as bad that way instead of going all the way down 81 and getting off the BMS exit. You can park alongside the 4 lane and catch a shuttle all the way down to the speedway. If you are going I would just google the directions and print them out. So much easier that way.

It can't be as bad as hoofing it around Knoxville, can it? Never been to BMS.

It's a pretty long walk if you park or camp on the back side where the drag strip is, and it's up hill. The parking on the front side is close up to the back stretch grandstands but will probably fill up pretty fast. If you camp or park at or around the drag strip you'll want to catch one of the many shuttle buses. The shuttle busses are actually custom painted ex school busses. And they have a ton of them.

Bristol Motor Speedway Trackside Camping @ Lady's Camping | When We Say Trackside … We Mean It!

This is where we will be, short walk to the track and reasonable pricing. 50 bucks isn't a bad price, we always park here for the races
Went tailgating there for 2009 spring race and liked it but called and they said extra $50 for tailgating. I thought price was ok but extra $50 is a little steep. Do they have Wifi? If so I could bring roku instead of dish to steam ESPN. Still debating but Internet might seal the deal.

They do have wifi, we actually rented the canopy, grill and they tossed in tv with direct tv

There will be parking on Exide drive, if you park past the Exide plant it will probably be free and it's about a 15 minute walk. Your exit will be much easier than if you park at the track.

Cool! I got a tailgating tent, a grill and probably bring my dish network tailgater if I have problems streaming. Thanks for info.

We have a tailgating tent too but not bringing it we are bringing a van full down rented a 15 passenger van for the trip. I got rid of my dish tailgater, chrome stick works awesome with hotspot as long as 4g lite is available.
