Good discussion on The Zone in Nashville. Can you name a better offensive and defensive tandem in the pros from one college than Manning/White?

Here is the #34 best play in 2016 for this series.

This part really stuck out:
"To make sure that Dobbs had time to throw, Tennessee used a max protection scheme. The offensive line, along with tight end Ethan Wolf, slid to the left, while Jalen Hurd stepped up to protect the right edge."
I mean having to use Max Protect against Western Carolina says a lot. I think Preston is going to be an absolute stud for us and the best we've had since Da'Rick but our OL has got to step up in pass pro and I think they will. When Dobbs and the WRs have time good things happen in the passing game.
While I think your point is valid given the last couple of years, I don't think this is the best example. WC rushed six, and while one ultimately dropped into coverage after taking a few steps forward, six would be pretty hard to block for just five linemen.
Another important point is that there was no pressure applied during the play. In other words, they did their jobs.
Fair enough. I edited and included that the execution was perfect but you responded before I'd finished. There's no doubt that OL did a great job on that play. I'm just obsessed with the OL getting better at pass pro so we can have a more consistent passing game with more plays like that and like I said, I think they will.
Good for them. North will do well if healthy, and prove people wrong
He's a beast at WR. One of the worst uses of talent I've seen by a staff. Especially in an area that was searching for a playmaker. I don't believe he wasn't healthy all year either. Probably was pissed from Game 1 til the end of the season. And he had a right to be. IMO
