At a town hall meeting the day before at Concord High School, Kasich offered a similar take: "I think many of us just feel lonely. We don't know where to go. There's nobody around to celebrate some of our victories. Sometimes there's nobody around to sit and cry with us. Don't we want that back in our country again?…Everybody on this Earth is connected. We're just a part of a mosaic in a moment of time. And when people are broken, it hurts all of us."

WTF is this guy talking about?
Going after the touchy feely vote.

He's talking about social responsibility and unity. How the dynamics of society has changed from the mid-20th century to now. Now no one ever stops and listens to anyone, everyone is hyper focused on moving fast and doing things that aren't really substantive in the long run. I certainly identify with that message.

Only now it's sometimes difficult to tell when someone is genuinely in pain or they're just being a drama queen because Kroger doesn't have their favorite ice cream on sale any more.

He also believes is very high taxes on the wealthy.. Which iby his defination is anyone who makes than more than 100k per year..

He and his supporter believes that wealth distribution (stealing) is morally right... Stealing is stealing

The rich have already stolen from the poor by corrupting the political process so that the rules are made in their favor. Its why capital gains earned by billionaires like Warren Buffett are taxed at a lower rate than the salary earned by his secretary. Buffett has brought this issue up himself.

If you think making the rules fair for all Americans rather than the donor class is cheating then I don't know what to say to you.

The only taxes Bernie will raise on people making $100k or less is to pay for universal healthcare. And that increase in taxes will be offset by no longer having to pay health insurance premiums because the private health insurance industry won't exist anymore.

Nothing about Bernie's platform is about stealing. Its about FAIRNESS. For too long big money has controlled politicians on both sides and rigged the rules to favor them. Bernie wants to rig the game in favor of the average American not the donor class.

You really do believe this, don't you?

He's a freakin' self proclaimed socialist FFS! You've lost your damn mind

Yeah and he's right now beating all the leading republican candidates in head to head polls.

This "socialist" label is not as damaging as the media thinks or you hope. The republicans have spent the last 8 years saying Obama and his policies are socialist. They've literally taken all ammunition outta the word because you have a generation that have grown on the Obama legacy and embrace it. And thus embrace socialism as an idea even if Obama was never really a socialist.

So blame Fox News and right wing radio for taking the power outta the word by inappropriately tagging Obama and his policies under that label.

As much as republicans hate Obama, he's still at 50% approval nationwide and widly popular among democrats. Thus it's unsurprising a majority of democrats seem to have no problem with a self proclaimed socialist leading the party.

Well my employer pays my insurance except for a little over a hundred dollars a month. Does his plan include my taxes going up while my employer doesn't pay for my healthcare anymore? I also make over $100k a year so does that mean I'm rich and I need to pay more than the $20k+ a year I'm paying now in taxes?

So you think it is fair to take someone's money they have worked years for and give it to people who haven't worked a day in their lives? I will never understand this way of thinking.

No.

Sanders is about balancing the playing field which is right now rigged against the average American in favor of the super rich.

It's not stealing someone's money to require they pay higher taxes if they make more money. That is called a progressive tax system. And when we redistribute wealth we aren't giving people who haven't worked "stuff." We're simply providing them with basic rights such as healthcare and education. You look at that as handouts. We progressives look at it as providing our citizens with basic rights.

No one is suggesting we give people who don't work a salary to buy gifts. We simply believe there are basic rights every man woman and child has a right to.
